  8.  @jay-shakeli9761  Taiwan was still legally part of Japan and under occupation of the Allies. The US merely appointed Chiang-Kai-Shek as proxy of the US. The US became the occupier of all Japanese territories until the peace treaty in 1952. So from the legal point, Taiwan was not part of the 1947 Nanjing constitution. Also, the civil war was about the control of territories left by the Qing government. Taiwan was already ceded permanently to Japan before the civil war.

Japan did not transfer Taiwan's sovereignty to any country nor government which means Taiwan together with Korea became free and independent from Japan in the same articles of the 1952 peace treaty. That is the basis of documented facts.

  12.  @Amidat Taiwan was never involved on any war in China. Taiwan saved the RoC government and preserved the Sun-Yat sen democratic principles. In history books, what happened in Chinas was a rebellion against the legitimate government. RoC's martial law from the state of rebellion was only lifted after RoC has been a democratic government in Taiwan.

China's government connection with Taiwan stopped in 1895 after permanent cession to Japan. Since 1895, Taiwan was legally part of Japan. So, it is a false claim to comment on separatism when legally Taiwan along with Korea has been free independent state since 1952 after the peace treaty with Japan or since 70 years ago. .

China only needs to help Taiwan gets back the UN seat and to be able the country to officially participate to all international organizations.

Douglas McArthur Order no.1. The temporary occupation ended inn 1952 peace treaty where Japan did not cede Taiwan to any country nor a government and both the US and Japan agreed that Taiwan was free for self-determination according to the UN Charter.
