  1. Your journey to Hepworth's birthplace reminded me of a visit to The Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden in St Ives, Cornwall. A magical place to visit and even my 16 year old companion was taken with her art. So much to enjoy in today's vlog as always - the War of the Roses history lesson, Zeph posing for a photo (where is her bicycle by the way?) and the Lenton Rose to name a few. It is a welcome place of peace and joy for me personally. I live in Canada right on the border with the US and we now feel threatened by an authoritarian regime to the south. But, we are taking a stand! Thanks as always. Stay safe on the waters and happy trails during the week ahead Vanessa. w xx

  2.  @themindfulnarrowboat  it can be wondrous and beautiful in winter but of late there is less snow. It's the snow covering that makes the beauty in winter. One of the good things about winter in the countryside is that the snow does not turn brown or slushy like in the city..we are prepared for the cold with coats that are good down to -30C and below!
