  1. Would the US just not bomb Japan day and night with B-29s ,B-17 and B-24s until they surrendered ? The conventional bombing of Tokyo ,killed more people than the 2 A-Bombed Cities. The US would also have fighter/bombers attacking anything that moved on the ground. Japan would be out of fuel and have no airforce defence,. In Germany at the end the fighter bombers were so out of targets they shot at anybody on a bicycle and cows in the farm fields.
