  2.  @ВячеславСкопюк  Your right about the M1 and Fg 42 , and SVT-40 ,me bad. But the AVT used a lower powered short 7.62mm x 39mm or 7.62x41mm not a true 7.62x54mm round. Like the German StG 44 that used a in between 7.9x33mm round stronger than a pistol round but less than a true rifle round.

  7. If Germany had all the fuel they ever needed they were lost. You can not fight the USSR,UK and USA all at once. The US (Alone) had twice Germany's population and 4 times their manufacturing capacity. Final nail is the Manhattan Project was going to be completed no matter what. What is fascinating is how long Germany lasted though.

Britain still had a much larger Navy than Germany and there was nothing Canada (UK Member) could not supply Britain with in Raw material and natural resources from nearby Halifax harbour.. It would have been a long statemate. Germany can not get to Britain and Britain could not get back on Europe.

  16. Germany had a population of only 70 million and was fighting a war on 3 fronts. The Russians had a population of 170 million fighting on one front. The Russian lost 1.3  million troops in encirclement t early in the war yet it did not effect them. Germany lost 250,000 Troops in Stalingrad and never recovered. That's call manpower and it's very important in wars of attritions.

The two best examples are building 98,000 planes in one year ,it would have been higher if the US only built small planes like Germany. At 1942 Midway they had 3 large Carriers ,3 years later they had 32 large fleet Carriers. All this while having the 2 billion dollar Manhattan Project in operation. No other nation could do that stuff in WW2.

Even if Germany took Russia and Europe that hinders their manpower , you need large amount of forces to occupy hostile countries. The German had large amount of soldiers policing the Ukraine and Norway., let alone all of Europe and France and the Middle East. A country with only 70 million people just can not take over the world , the math just does not work does not work.

  28. The British mobilized 5 million service people during the war , the loss of 200,000 would be bad but in the Grand scheme of things not devisating. The Germans lost that many in Stalingrad yet fough a bigger battle at Kursk months later.

  29. If your right about Stalin Invading Germany than all that would have changed is Hitler would be on our side not Stalin. NOWAY , Britain,France and the USA would let a communist regime exist in Western Europe , unlike Eastern Europe. Germany was no France they could hold off a Russian advance long enough for Britain and France to get their act together as American supplies pour over the atlantic with Russia's non existent navy not hindering convoys.

  41. Operation Winter Storm  got to 30 miles of the 6th army why not break out? Why have a Operation Winter Storm going on if the other end is not trying to mean their rescuer part way? What's to lose , zero people of the 6th army made it out ,so even 100,000 weaken solders on a small point of the Russia line may of had some get through rather than zero getting through by not trying.

  42.  @3ddevelopment979  Italy was more of a henderace for Germany. Even before Italy surrendered I think more italians had relatives in the US and were cheering for the other side. Germany had to bail Italy out of Africa and Greece holding back the Russian invasion Forces for two months.
