Your not going to see Electric Container /Cargo ship, E- Freight trains and E-Cargo planes or E-transport trucks . Electric does not have the range and the sheer weight of the battery would take up half the cargo space and weight capacity. Overpopulation is the is the elephant in the room nobody can talk about.

  5. Has anybody thought of this? OK we finally have Driverless cars out for 15 years, but now there are 12 year old dented up $1,500 used driverless car driving all over the place. Like the cheap used beaters students buy used today , where lots of small things do not work like new but you ignore them . On a Driverless car you still need that Driverless system 100% even if the car left turn sensor is grounded to a rusted frame and was jared by a few thousand pot holes in its days.

  15. Because no man made machine is 100% reliable 100% of the time, A self driving car at 99.9% reliable just once is a public death machine. What happens when these cars are on the road for 5 years and are used cars? It's not like having a burnt out taillight where nobody gets killed.

Yes a 12 year old Tesla with 150, 000 miles will sell for cheap just like every other old used car does. Just that a burnt out tail light or AC not working is not like the 12 year old Driverless bain box is about to hit one pot hole to many.

  29. Unlike Oil. There is not enough lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) on the planet to power all the cars in the world. Just like Wind and Solar can not replace Coal for 1.4 billion people energy needs in China. All electric cars , there is no way it's just a matter of numbers.

In Canada , the e-bikes under a certain wattage/speed rating are treated as a pedal bike. The ones over that wattage/speed rating are treated as a gas motorcycle. No real science to it.
