Since Ford HAS reversed himself under pressure from the left, I suggest that comparison is not accurate. My concern is that too many Ontarians don't have the courage to vote for Horwath.
6
As AWFUL as she is and she still had 54% approval?!?! That's insanely high. If Californians can recall Gavin Newsom, why can't Arizonans recall someone this bad?
6
@robgoren8628 we used to say that any politicians proposing this would be run out of town on a rail. What happened to us?
6
David is not fit or qualified to shine Jimmy's shoes. Jimmy is on the left and correctly calls out false progressives, most notably TYT. David does not.
6
David? Edmonton had one NDP seat.
6
@spencerschubert5001 I'd contact the Party NOW and ask for people to run in your area.
6
@funkymonkey65 and from here in the great White North
5
@Clavitz1 I prefer to set the bar higher than that. That's like saying Biden, the serial sexual assaulter, racist, warmonger, enemy of the poor and cop apologist is better than Trump.
5
@Clavitz1 I wouldn't go that far. But we have a lefty party that is actually acting like one.
5
@jeffwithmaintenance6229 bless you sir. It never fails. First smear Jimmy Dore, and then turn on his best guests. Glenn is only the first. What next, David? Award winning Max Blumenthal? Or award winning Aaron mate? Or other reporters Jimmy interviews? Who will you turn on next? By the way, I've NEVER seen Doel have the courage to tell people not to vote Democrat. So I'm not sure he's really on the left
5
@racheleaston43 you've made your point. YOu may now retreat into your bubble
5
@racheleaston43 you are literally making me cry if that is the effect. I weep every time someone innocent loses their life in a preventable tragedy. And feel utterly helpless, especially when it happens in a foreign country.
5
@pdawwg08 and the least accurate.
5
Not really. Those people tend to follow Jimmy Dore, Lee Camp, Ron Placone, sabby sabs, the notorious big and others
5
David is correct in what he DOES talk about (medical bankruptcies? What the hell are those?) but he is not giving the whole picture, which is disingenuous and unworthy of someone of his intelligence. (I explain below. Or above.)
5
Start calling the right crazy heartless capitalists.
5
Using the notwithstanding clause for spite is an egregious abuse of democracy. That will literally influence the election. But if Justin is in fact working on pharmacare, good on him. Didn't Howarth propose a far more comprehensive plan? (Yes, I proudly voted for her. But hey, it;'s no buck-a beer right? SMFH)
5
@batgurrl they're against Republicans. But they're ABSOLUTELY against the left. Fortunately lefty media provides enough clips and examples
5
She's probably going to be the best mayor of my lifetime. She needs to soak the rich and corporations
5
@matthewstone1362 no. Briefs.
5
@RemixedVoice no, I would say is is leftist but not extreme.
5
@TheAstraeuss I am very relieved to hear that. When the NDP censured a member from going to a Jeremy Corbyn event I was afraid they'd been corrupted
5
Would it though? Would it really? But what do I know we only have FIVE different parties in government at this time.
5
My desktop sees no icons therefore cannot read your reply
5
More so. They are limiting the ability of candidates like Bernie to run and win or even compete. #DemExit
5
For those of us who have no idea who Stefen Molyneux is....? Joe is pretty solidly left from all the clips and interviews I have seen.
5
@KILLCOLONIALISM actually, you're not. And I happen to agree with your basic statement. Do better.
5
@samfetter2968 the fact that you call it sleep dewormer tells us everything we need to know about you. You are one of Kyle's TFGs
5
For decades in countless countries inclusive Ukraine and Iran and Iraq and studies and Libya and Venezuela
5
Federally, somewhat. Ask someone living in Ontario (your Texas or California) under Trump Lite and his draconian reforms before you jump to that conclusion.
5
@arkinyte13 it started with Harper. Bit by bit he cut and snipped "universal" health care so that MANY services are no longer covered and also between provinces (your states). We need to repair it, not fray it further. But Ontarians are not known for massive demonstrations. I will hobble down to march if asked but I am no leader or organizer. Being of poor to average health myself, I dread the implications of this. People will literally die because of Doug Ford and his Conservatives.
5
@Gameguy-gk8lx is that the same David Cross from Bob and David, Arrested Development, and the husband of Amber tamblyn? THAT David Cross?
5
@wvu05 it ABSOLUTELY doesn't. Although in theory Biden could nominate someone worse, I can't imagine who that would be. The onty thing this should accomplish is dirivng all remaining progressives ourt of the Democratic Party. #DemExit
5
So you think most of us would ignore how he fucked over the railway workers, students, women, low income earners and more? His record is horrific.
5
@CrowTR0bot if you are not pushing for 3rd parties HARD and ballot initiatives, then yes.
5
Shontel will work as hard for them as her bosses Pelosi, Schumer, Manchin, Sinema, Hoyer etc
5
TJ B how about you show us video of the MCM admitting they were wrong about Force the Vote (and other issues like Russiagate, Syria etc) and that Jimmy was correct on?
5
@minskghoul why should that surprise you? Jimmy is excellent. I am not tied to him, though. Only met him once and we didn't really discuss politics. And if you think he is the only leftwing media pundit, you are grossly uninformed. He may simply be the most vocal and most smeared. And he is SO often correct (Force the Vote, anyone?) that more people SHOULD subscribe to him (and Kyle, Lee, Graham, Convo Couch, HLM, etc etc) to get the truth the MCM will rarely if ever let you see. #IBelieveTaraReade
5
TJ B I don't remember that. And neither do you. Jimmy occasionally gets stuff wrong. He is no Julian Assange. Hell, I bet even Kyle or Lee gets the occasional story wrong! The thing is, whether the Clintons DID have Seth Rich murdered may never be known just as we may never know who murdered (or helped escape) Jeffrey Epstein, or an y other number of crimes, precisely because the rich and the powerful are able to cover up most of their crimes. So yeah. I wouldn't come down hard on Jimmy. And even if he WAS disproven on this one story, a 95% truthful and success record (or whatever it is) on his part dwarfs any MCM talking head (Russiagate, anyone?). I will trust independent media over the MCM any day of the week. #FreeJulian
5
@JM-er2yl she should join the list of Congress critters who must be primaried
4
@Valvad0ss not all. We have to tax wealth, and at an extremely high rate
4
@mudslinger888 cite your evidence. I'm willing to go with the journalist. And the journalist. I used to be a journalist and I'm almost embarrassed to tell people that. Of course, I'm not in the US so I ACTUALLY asked good questions and provided helpful information to my readers.
4
Tony, I don't know David personally but do you think he's been corrupted by money? He lives in a fairly rich area of Ontario
4
@cluelessjoe5745 yeah I often feel Doel is becoming mainstream as well
4
IOW they would have voted for bernie given a chance. their enemy, like yours, is the DNC and the cabal who secretly run it.
4
@watsonroadster3707 no, but they are dominated, cowed by, and threatened by, the US and the military and intelligence spooks who back them. Why do you think almost no world leaders have spoken up about Julian Assange, Steven Donzinger, Daniel Hale etc?
4
@roblong9728 it did. In only wish there was a third party to vote for that was left wing and progressive. Or a party that focus on environmental issues. Damn. Maybe some day....
4
@LinkRocks I used to think that as well. But actions show that this is simply not true. THis is why JD are now "Just Us" Democrats. When you as a group can actually CONTROL THE ACTIONS ANDS VOTES of the House, and you refuse to band together to do it, you have failed your voters, your mission, your principles and your country. And the alleged progressives in the House have done this a dozen times, from Force the Vote to going AWOL on Medicare for All to Iron Dome to funding the military. So no. Voting Democrat is no longer the answer, and apparently hasn;t been for a very very long time. Don't look at me. I have been third and fourth party since at least the 1990s.
4
@crazydingo8891 not only that...hello, railway workers?????? HE BROKE THEIR UNION!!! What are these idiots thinking of????
4
So are you going ndp or green?
