Everything is easy work for Russia. Russia was to take all of Ukraine in 1 week, and they have already taken 15% in 11 months
9
I don't think Russia and China actually goes so wel together. China is modern very productive country/people, while Russia is stuck in the past with very little progress apart from weapons.
6
Russia can win the battles in the field, but never win peace and the ukrainian people. If to keep control of Ukraine the russians need x10 more soilders than they have put in now, to stay there for years
5
@alessandromicali7907 Ok. Weapons on battle fields often gets destroyed after some time, that is a part of their job. Noting special. The Russian state media will present all these tanks as destroyed the first day they enter Ukraine, and there will be pictures for you to look
4
Good luck. India might be the next on their list
3
Putin has a lot to gain by doing threats, but nothing by actually invade a neghbour country that pose no direct threat. Russia is extremly dependent on export of oil and gas, and trade in dollars. If the export, and financial institutons are hurt,, Russia is quickly on a path to weakness. He do not want Ukraine to join Nato, but by actually invade eastern Ukraine/Donbass region he gives Ukraine a even stronger reason why they need to join NATO, and more quick, not the opposite
3
these are people who loves weapons and running around in the forrest shooting at things
3
Russia is at war. All of Russia is a millitary target
2
Ukraine is a total mess, poor and corrupt. Nato and the west must stay far away, it's not our fight
2
NATO and the US sent their soilders into our millitary bases, in Russia, and forced us out and all the way over and into the Ukrainian borders There was nothing we could do. We where forced, at gun point. We everyday want to go home, but they do not allow us. It's their fault. Dimitry Peskov.
2
Ukraine has not attacked any other countries
2
@harryclark2756 ah, well good luck to them
2
Putin has a lot to gain by using threats, but nothing by actually invade.
2
They have no reason or gain about going further into Ukraine, that's the 'problem'. Ukraine is no threat to Russia. Crimea is the location of Russia's naval bases, very important to their defence in that region, and could not risk to lose access to with the pro-russian government of Ukraine kicked out in 2014. The rest of Ukraine is poverty and trouble to them, nothing they want to hold.
2
@paoloadam Nato do not care so much about rights) The would invade Mexico, as they intervened and bombed Serbia, Libya and so on
2
Keep up threats toward Ukraine in order to get diplomatic victories in negotiations with the west and NATO will make Putin a star among the russian people. Actually invading poor trouble ridden Ukraine that oppose not threat, for no reason other than 'I don't like they being frineds with the west, and holding it spending billions, soliders deths, getting lots of sanctions and so on hurting the russian economy even more, would be seen as a loss. Putin is not a stupid man.
2
@vsmeto What about all the millions of people living in Kiev and other cities far away from the frontline that have to see rockets hitting their appartments and streets every day. these people do not have any millitary installations in their living rooms, as you are being told by your government.
2
Yes. It an run on different types of fuel, diesel, gas and so on. These tanks needs a lot of maintenence. But that's the wy they have chosen to build them, and there are several thousands
2
@lancecahill5486 it's about getting it over with asap. everything helps. The russians are desperately begging syrians to join as cannon fodder. After initially planing getting control of ukraine in 3 days, the russians are frustrated and bombs civilian neighbourhoods
2
Putin dreams about rebuilding the Soviet Union, to be a big power. But not to take over Europe and the word.
2
No war. The EU gets 40% of their oil and gas from Russia, and Russia need that income, as one example for not going initiate a war. Nato and Russia both like to make threats, that's the game
2
Prouction and sales of weapons is a BIG industry in the US, and that industry spend billions to push on US Congress members. Threats of war, and war, in Ukraine is good business to the US
2
There are 'underground' resistant groups in russia against Putin and his regime and actions
1
It would been naive to think that Ukraine government going from looking to the west instead of the east, would come at no cost. Of course those most eatern pro-russian regions would not agree, and would want to be independent, continue looking to the east and Russia. Ukraine should focus on buliding 'New Ukraine' with connections towards EU, not wasting more lives and resources in the east. A hopeless war that can go on for decades. Anyway, good luck to all. (I am not russian or pro-russian)
1
the majority of Ukrainian people have chosen a government that are leaning towards the EU and west. The old government was a friend of Pution, not the new. They want something new, get away from 'soviet things', be more like a modern western country
1
India is regarded as neutral I guess. India got a okay relation to both Russia and USA, from what I know
1
Russia has done a terror attack on his country. Of course he not like russians
1
MSN meida : 'Ivanka Trump wears a black/red striped dress in south korea. She is illegally(?) doing adverticement for all shops which sells black/red striped dresses! Oh my god! This is terrible!'
1
People with Ukrainian passports first. Sorry. Many people.
1
No. It's a threat. If actual invasion planned, things would looked normal at the borders, not giving the enemy months to prepare and build up. An invasion would happened quick and smooth, with millitary transported to the border from distant parts of russia, quickly.
1
Putin, like him or not, is a highly inteligent and tactical man. He knows everything about this. He knows he go as far as using threats in order to get some possible diplomatic victories, but actually invade will just work the opposite, NATO getting even more eager to expand east, opposed to retract as Putin wish.
1
Evidence..?
1
because they need to find reasons to still exist after the cold war was over 30 years ago. And the weapons industry is very big in countires like the US, millions of jobs and Trillions of USD! Som conflicts are needed all the time to keep things rolling. Putin is all about to serve and protect Russia. The US and the west have tried for decades to get a change of regime in Russia, to install some puppet leadership there. This is among the major problems bothering Russia, interference in their internal affairs. If just the US and Nato could back off a bit, leave Russia alone, the big tensions would not been so big. But again, less weapons and millitary = less money
1
The THREAT of invasion is Putins big 'trumf card' in negotiations, and he want to keep it as this for years if needed, until he feels he got some sort of diplomatic 'victory'. If there is a an actual invasion, the 'trumf card' is thrown away. There are things to gain by threats of an invasion, but nothing by actually do it here.
1
For info, communist is long gone in eatern europe. 98% are not into it at all. China is communist.
1
Correctly.
1
Sure, if Ukraine attacks first. Which they won't.
1
Killing a '1 of a hundred' journalists working for the Russia state media would not change a thing regarding the war too the Ukrainains, just give the Russsians another reason to escalate their attacks. Why risk loosing one of their agents going after a russian journalist far inside russia, instead of using their agent going after russian weapon storages and other military targets that is of great importance
1
@Mightyrussia So Ukraine attached themself. And if Russia attached their Siberia region, who cares. If someone want to attack their own country, it's their problem, nobody else need to interfere
1
@Mightyrussia Minsk agreement was about the option of giving Donbass control for free to Putin. Ukraine did not agree. So here we are today. Stupid conflict about another shithole region
1
What about Iraq, China and North Korean sponsored Terrorism? Is that better?
1
Finland? Today is a total different time and area. Putin is not looking for more territory on behalf of Russia, he is looking for a deal with Eu, Nato where they stay clear of ukraine millitary and move their weapon systems in the Baltics and so on further away from the border. He feels threatened, and pushes back setting up a threat himself with the soilders close to the border
1
He as outsmarted himself this time. A desperate stunt to try act like the new big Russian Tsar. Possible the beinning of the end of Putin. Will be interesting following Russia the next couple of years. He can win the race of capturing Ukraine, but he can never win the Ukrainian people and peace
1
Thousands of enemy soilders have entered Russian territory several times since 2022?
1
Russian group that are against Putin and his politics, like the terror attack on Ukraine, is responsible. Ukraine have nothing to gain on spending time and energy killing some pro-Putin citizens in Russia, it will not help the situation of the Ukraine war at all
1
Are you a comedian? Russia has invaded their neighbour country. It is not 'terrorism' to defend and attack against the invaders. Ukrainians operate the weapons themself. Do the Russians need Chinese people to come operate Chinese manufactured weapons?
1
Well said. Yes
1
why not just continue live a life with no stress and worries instead. rather enjoy life and freedom. get up when you will, go to sleep when you will, eat when you will, wash the floors twice a year. Hey, just kidding, life should not be that easy, better get married.
1
go back to your playstation war games. do not bother the real world
1
