  16. Putin just want to be left alone, to have Nato redraw their weapon systems from Eastern Europe, close up to the Russian border. Sure the US won't be to happy if China joint forces with Mexico and put up theri weapon systems along the US-Mexico border. From Putins side it's just a show of power in the region, threats, to possible have some diplomatci victories with the west/Nato. Invading Ukraine do not serve Putin's purpose at all. Of course he knows, he is not stupid. And the russian people would not be happy about him spending billions going into poor trouble ridden Ukraine

Dear Leader of Kreml supplied rebels in eastern Ukraine with weapons to start a civil war, then charge the Ukrainian government for being nazies because fighting his rebels to keep the country together. The russians have made a big fools of themself in front of the world with this 'special stunt' which do not help improve the living conditions of people in russia at all.   23.  @KoguryoKid  one can call things intolerable and speak fine words and etichs, but it won't help towards a deadlock. The Ukrainian government changed from eastern looking to western looking. It would been very navie to think that would happen without a cost. No matter Russia or not, Ukraine has been diviede in two for decades, north and west looking to western Europe, south and east are pro-russian. Ukraine should concentrate on building the new modern Ukraine, and let problem regions sail theiri own way
