@RedZeppelinAirship I don't hate America. And what the hell?
2
@reclusiarchgrimaldus1269 serious question?
2
@maddoxlacy9072 that's the case for every country today. Every country and people still retain the right to autonomy. As a matter in fact, that's the case for every individual. You may as well be arguing for theft on the basis that if you don't steal something someone else will. It's an amoral and illogical argument.
2
@maddoxlacy9072 and there was so much bad history there, I'm not going to take the time to correct it all.
2
@maddoxlacy9072 needless to say, I disagree.
2
@RudolfStern3399 so you think Israel is a European settler state established at the expense of indigenous people?
2
@whyismyricewet1986 utterly unsurprising.
2
@McKae00 the slave trade was Europeans themselves purchasing Africans. Slavery in Africa ended upon post colonial legislation. This is relevant to any of my claims, how?
2
@matejamartin2199 the slave trade started with Europeans looking for slaves for the New World. Africans did not cause that.
2
@matejamartin2199 you're not even from the West. Mateja? Stop messaging me.
2
@jakemac1396 how about abolishing segregation and a majority by law, white parliament?
2
@jo9932 Bantu were there before Europeans.
2
I doubt that. There would have been clips all over YouTube. What was it called?
2
@ciandoyle3315 message your peers.
2
@louisvanniekerk2612 nah. They would have been poorer between sanctions and endless civil war.
1
@nielsmichiels1939 the Zulu are the very Bantu you're referring to. What on earth, man?
1
@nielsmichiels1939 I'm wasting my time with you. Yes, Germans are distant cousins of Germanic peoples. Give me a break.
1
@nielsmichiels1939 are you Danish?
1
@nielsmichiels1939 Denmark is developed. Education there would be better. Not surprising. Zulu are a Bantu group. Saying they're distant cousins is like saying Danes are distant cousins of Germanic peoples. Furthermore, the ethnogenesis of Zulu took place alongside other Nguni within the country from common ancestors that had been there for centuries before the arrival of the Dutch.
1
@nielsmichiels1939 I won't mock you any further and I apologize. However, your comment is outrageous. The Zulu's forbears long pre-date Europeans in Africa. Where are you getting this from?
1
@nielsmichiels1939 how can you ask me not to mock you when you make statements like this? The Zulu's ancestors were in what is today South Africa since before the 12th Century. Zulu were in the lands the SAR and Orange Free State would be founded in long before even the Portuguese visited.
1
@nielsmichiels1939 instead of arguing blindly, why not just research the demographics of the Cape Colony and Boer Republics?
1
@nielsmichiels1939 and it's like saying Dutch people didn't exist during Roman times so the Dutch have no greater claim to the Netherlands than immigrants. It's just odd. You're throwing your integrity out the window with these historically mistaken and bizarre claims.
1
@nielsmichiels1939 you're dishonest. You fully understand my point, you're just too conceited to concede a point.
1
@nielsmichiels1939 where are you from anyway? And I said, as you know, that there were Bantu in the Cape Colony. I said nothing about Zulu. Furthermore, I can't help but notice how you ignore how the ancestors of the Nguni peoples have always dwelled in what would become South Africa.
1
@nielsmichiels1939 you stated Bantu in the region were cleared out by Zulu. They weren't. Zulu were Bantu themselves. The Mfecane only created a no-man's-land buffer. You claimed there weren't any Bantu in the Cape Colony. There were. Furthermore, the Boer Republics had Bantu majorities.
1
@nielsmichiels1939 The Zulu were originally a minor clan in what is today Northern KwaZulu-Natal, founded c. 1574 by Zulu kaMalandela. In the Nguni languages, iZulu means heaven or weather.
1
@nielsmichiels1939 it's so weird you take issue with being mocked, given how you are.
1
@nielsmichiels1939 reading didn't appear to be your strong suit anyway. That's really what the problem is.
1
@YoniBaruch-y3m you people are intolerable. The Mfecane occurred before the Boer Wars and British influence in the region. It served its purpose. Assuming you even know what that purpose was.
1
@Teppo Tulppu where are you from?
1
@Teppo Tulppu somehow I could tell you weren't actually from a country with any minorities.
1
@hstwodrainage.1410 wasn't it segregated?
1
@watkinsrory there was no segregation in the US during the 70s.
1
@watkinsrory they could vote and move freely move. On what basis were they treated worse?
1
@buckodonnghaile4309 yet it's wealthier than it was in '79.
1
@TommygunNG why is recolonization necessary?
1
@TommygunNG so African countries will just let themselves be recolonized and YouTube CEOs will one day be in jail for deleting your reply?
1
@TommygunNG African countries rely on Western aid? And Western governments would commit to bombing them? Really? That's crazy news.
1
@TommygunNG really? Trump is a dictator? Private companies can't choose what to put on their platforms? And Trump's gonna put 'em I'm jail? Wow. No way.
1
@TommygunNG again, it's not hard to get around the algorithm.
1
@feetsniffer1488 Pakistan has nuclear weapons. During Apartheid most people had no power.
1
@dulguunjargal1199 if it was stable it wouldn't have been at war. And absolutely no country on earth was wealthier in the 60s. Bar none.
1
@dulguunjargal1199 no, thank you. I'd rather not be ruled by aliens. Not for a split second. Especially not aliens that hold you in contempt.
1
@mikefish8226 if they expelled them, they would still move forward.
1
@mikefish8226 nah. Every single African country is better off than it was under European occupation. And looking at you, Mugabe was justified in the means he used to redeem his own.
1
@mikefish8226 no. You're just dishonest.
1
@mikefish8226 it was poorer during the 60s. It's wealthier now.
1
@mikefish8226 you're the one who stated Africa was poorer then. You should be answering that question regarding yourself.
1
@mikefish8226 relatively, it's wealthier. The per capita income is higher even when adjusted to 2023 dollars. A trend seen with urbanization, literacy, life expectancy and infant mortality.
