Within a few years of graduating, all twelve women were only working part-time as they were now mothers. Most, of course, only have one child so it's still below replacement rate and it cost the state the same amount of money to train each of them.   40. I was in a small town in the West of Ireland the other day. I was walking through the town when the primary school was let out. On the street I was on, I saw about a dozen non-white children (black and Indian) and only a couple of white children (who may well have been Eastern European, in any case). The hour is very late indeed. EDIT: Alan, are you there?

  41. I am gay and 100% agree. Society works best where the model that suits most people best - heterosexual marriage and children - is promoted rather than denigrated, and space is allowed for those who don't fit into that model by nature.
