  11. A small sample from Ireland: I know of a young doctor who qualified as a GP a few years ago. There were 13 people on the GP training scheme in her local area. Of those 13 people (whose training costs the state the same amount), only 1 is working full-time, and he's a man. The other 12 are women and all are mothers who only work part-time as doctors.
