@mw01908 The UK asked for it in that form.
2
ger du where do you get your number from? Is it a study or a gut feeling? If it is a study please give a link otherwise we must assume it is just made up.
2
@DJWeiWei Everyone holds back with investments as they do not like the uncertainty. It might even go so far that companies relocate in part or as a whole to have safe and stable trading conditions. The vulture capitalists on the other hand thrive in instability and chaos. They like to buy things up cheap and plunder.
2
@James Berry Yes the common man can save 4 pennies a day on footwear. I am sure this will be amazing. Well only if the seller cares to give it to the customer instead of keeping it in the own pocket.
2
Kim Bird 350 people walked for Brexit with Farage and 1 million marched for Remain.
2
Gazza You have not seen any bullying by now. Wait for the WTO where the UK will be shredded to pieces and everyone takes its pound of flesh.
2
Colin Mitchell - Do you refer to a study or a gut g feeling? Please share a link to the study. If not thanks for sharing your personal emotion.
2
Keegan773 - The UK negotiated for over two years and this is a withdrawal agreement. The UK agreed to that. The problem is that UK negotiator never had thr mandate nor the majority in parliament.
2
Raab is awful I just wonder how the Tories found out.
2
Slaine Saxon - Democracy was always here. Parliament is sovereign and has been sovereign.
2
@slainesaxon3809 So you can't explain what "overriding parliament" means nor give me one example where it takes place with EU regulations, can you? By the way it is the UK government that agreed to all that comes from the EU. The UK voted 94% of the time in favour and opposed only two percent. Not to mention the opt outs and extras an individual country like the UK got.
2
The Tories and Thatcher betrayed the UK and sole the people out to a service economy.
2
Scotland will be fine NI will be fine. England will be all alone in the dark as they blew out the last candle.
2
@TugIronChief Trump is an overweight 73 year old.
2
James Smith The UK choose to to that to itself and is the first country in the world to give itself willfully a negative supply shock. The economist Adam Posen explains it so nicely - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xivL_ABvYFc
2
Allen Bozo the clown. He cares right next after the court heard Johnson. If Bozo rejects the office then it is handed to a herd of unicorns.
2
@slainesaxon3809 The EU already has trade treaties with a lot of countries. They trade 1800 billion globally. So the UK loses all these trade treaties with other countries. This is a withdrawal agreement and it is about the UK leaving. This means it is about losing all benefits a member has and become a third country like Canada. Well less like Canada as they have an EU trade treaty.
2
@royhenderson4085 Thanks well the even Mauretania trade on better conditions then a crashed out UK.
2
This happens when people have fantasy expectations feed by misinformed or lying politicians.
2
Johnson the lazy notorious liars makes a time sensitive promise. Why should anyone believe a notorious liar? Who will not be surprise if Johnson comes up with a lie why he could not achieve that?
2
Jon A - The UK exports 44% of its exports into the EU27. The EU27 only 8% into the UK.
2
@sonofsomerset1695 This is a withdrawal agreement. It is about settling the accounts and leaving is about losing. Some politicians raised high expectations and either acted without knowledge or lied about the real situation.
2
@yolareg7927 IF 70% of the UK would get infected, if the death rate would be 1% then 450.000 people die in the UK.
2
Terry Smudge - Only Mauritania trades on the worst trade conditions. All other WTO members have made treaties with at least their closest trading partners. Many are even in the trading blocs.
2
Johnson is an incompetent lying fool. Johnson demanded a border between NI and the rest UK. This is what he got in his deals with the EU.
2
@donalddonaldson9814 Really? So what will the EU backtrack? Do you really think the violate their own treaties and rules to please some third country that is unreliable and tells every day a different story?
2
James Sherbun - May be Trump looks forward to make his children rulers over the US colony.
2
141 countries condemned Putin's war of aggression.
2
This is based on a gut feeling or a study? If it is based on a study be so kind to share it. I am a bit surprised about the assumption they made and what evidence (if any) they provide.
2
@samuellittle1286 No one speaks about the US. The EU countries give every EU citizen the right to work where he finds work. He can stay in another country if he shows after 90 days that he can support himself 100%. If not he is send home. This is what is called freedom of movement for workers.
2
@LesliePeter It is to late for the UK. To many are infected. One needs a real lockdown and a lot more testing.
2
foppo leeuwerke - Who pays for the extra fuel and other delays for this rerouting? I hope we take is directly out of the Leaver politicians pocket like Johnson and Rees-Mogg.
2
@cuppacoffee8961 Do you exports 48% to your Sports club and do 3 million jobs depend on these exports?
2
@cuppacoffee8961 How does this help the UK? How does this help the 3 million people who work in export jobs as 48% is exported to the EU? Do they get freedom bread and freedom mortgages for their houses or does freedom pay their bills? Who pays their bills if they loose their jobs?
2
@MSDosPrompt Why does or have to be such a drama when one country leaves a political organisation of sovereign countries? The UK choose to become number 28 in Europe instead of beinh in the Top three in the EU.
2
@jenniebugs1 Adam Posen explains is very nicely https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcIkIz98zXU Have a look!
2
@Spinler Muckflitt The UK exports 44% to other EU countries and more then 60% over EU treaties. The EU exports 8% into the UK. The UK has 65 million and is a 2 trillion economy. The EU has 440 million citizen and a 16 trillion economy. By the way the US trade treaty means for the UK the privatization of the NHS, the lowering of food standards so that the American Agro-business can flatten the UK agriculture and not to forget to enslave the Pound Sterling to the Dollar. This are just the basic demands they made.
2
Kyiv is a thousand year older then Moscow. So go home little Putin and wait for to stand trial for your war crimes.
2
@Gary Graham Ukraine is a siuvereign and independent country. Russia can no longer produce any tank as the parts are sanctioned. Russia is losing.
2
Ginza Yes the UK is a society of some filthy rich and a lot poor. "Low wages, insecure jobs, and zero hour contracts mean that even at record unemployment there are still 14 million people in poverty. Government Ministers emphasized that only 3% of the workforce on zero hours contracts, with no benefits or security. But that amounts to almost one million workers, and a great many of them will be among the most vulnerable members of society. And the Equalities and Human Rights Commission found that 10% of workers over 16 are in insecure employment.61 Jobs aren’t even a guarantee against people needing food banks. The Trussell Trust told me that one in six people referred to their food banks is in work. One pastor said “The majority of people using our food bank are in work…. Nurses and teachers are accessing food banks." Statement on Visit to the United Kingdom, by Professor Philip Alston, United Nations Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights https://www.ohchr.org/Documents/Issues/Poverty/EOM_GB_16Nov2018.pdf
2
Ginza fullfact.org - Around 13 million people are living in absolute poverty in the UK, after housing costs are taken into account—that’s one in five. 14 million people are living in relative poverty, after housing costs. https://fullfact.org/economy/one-in-five-poverty/?utm_source=content_page&utm_medium=related_content
2
Stephen Cockett - Who told you this? Either this is a misunderstanding or the one telling you did lie to you.
2
@ParticleJesus The legend of the true Brexiteer to whom the EU will bow down and say " whatever you demand we are your faithful servants." Well this is a fantasy as the EU would have the same position and the UK still leaving.
2
@fromthesilence9583 The UK is leaving and burns the equivalence of 750 treaties. Leaving is about losing. So the UK can make an offer and see if it is good enough for the EU.
2
@stephen crowther The EU is an organisation of sovereign states. The head of states are all democratically elected and together they come to agreements for their countries.
2
Martin Ford - This is illegal under WTO. One can have only the same tariff for cars to all WTO members. The only exception is a treaty with a lower or no tariff. So your idea is a breach of WTO.
2
@Russian Troll so Im told I guess no one told thrm that most cars assembled in the Uak have 60% parts from the EU that need just in time delivery. No one told them either that more then 50% of these cars assembled in the UK are sold into the EU. Such a cruel world!
2
Kev You mean all these countries the EU trades with for 1800 billion a year?
2
@nhlazyarse Yes it is tough to become sovereign once one is controlled by the Westminster super state.
2
Then NATO has to defend it under article 5.
