Good for them. If they think they will be the best candidate to support their beliefs(party) then all the power to them.
1
Sad state of affairs.
1
@MJOLNIR242 officers are not trained to "fire a warning shot". The arrest/detention of the first person is questionable, as you say, depends what the person in white was saying. he was approaching the officer so it's 50/50 to me. The officer was not "taking a hostage"
1
"Do as I say, not as I do" is the dems motto. They need to show leadership on this front as well as climate change.
1
They should revoke the security clearances. If it is not absolutely required it should be gone. Sounds like they are making the playing field even. "In between jobs". How long has she been in this state? Yes people, should have to work or volunteer for a set a number of hours. You need to contribute to the society. Based on what the dentist said. Help people without work for awhile, get them healthy. If they are healthy then they should continue on Medicare.
1
"A lot of service members have been confused, am i going to get med boarded"... He is saying a lot. How many transgenders are serving in the military? Last study I read saw 0.3 percent. S out of all active soldiers (1,429,995) there should be ~430. If there were even that in number in the military I would be shocked.
1
So transgenders are more likely to apply/be in the army? Politifact isn't clear and just references studies. For instance they also talk about a RAND study saying it could be as low as 2150. http://www.politifact.com/wisconsin/statements/2017/jul/26/mark-pocan/how-many-people-military-are-transgender/ I really doubt the number is even that high because "Until very recently, it was not possible to join the American armed forces if you were openly transgender. But in 2016, then Defence Secretary Ash Carter announced that the military would have to develop a plan to allow transgender individuals to serve openly. The full policy was due to be implemented by 1 July, 2017."
1
Allie Doak thank you. That makes complete sense
1
Housing is not a human right. If the property is owned by an individual why should they have to eat the cost when you aren't able to pay for rent?
1
@pjay628 They are talking about police failure and how there answers were "I don't know, I don't remember" and how there were holes in their stories. Then there were holes in their own stories.
1
@kys4s4c It's in the name? What part of journalism means not serious? I don't expect it to be serious all the time but I do expect some more merit to the stories they chose to cover.
1
I never said it wasn't journalism. I said it wasn't hard hitting. It's a puff piece with no real substance.
1
So want you are saying Trump solved the problems in Korea? That's great.
1
Thanks Obama. Phillip Clay was deported 2011. How could you be so heartless?
1
-What are you in for? I murdered a guy. What are you in for? I failed to vote and then didn't pay the fine... -The USA had a woman on their $20 bill in the 1860's, Pocahontas. If you are going to virtue signal and push progression at least be accurate. -Compulsory voting is ridiculous. You are going to get more uninformed voters, voting just because they have to.Voters should be well informed before placing their vote and understand the polices of each party. If anything the government should force politicans to provide a clear platform for the next 4 years and have penalties to the party leaders when it is not upheld. Maybe that would cause the debates to centre around the platform rather than someone's character. -The barriers to voting is something I do agree is a problem. Voting needs to be available to everyone who chooses to be actively engaged in the political process. -Election Day could be a national holiday but it really doesn't have to be. Every state has early voting. A person is guaranteed a right to vote, not to vote on the specific day. Early voting has been open since Oct 15 in some places.

Avatarfan10000 I am guessing. If the child has been previously introduced to the person he/she is no longer considered a stranger.
1
What is an assault rifle? Many manufactures make rifles similar to the AR15. They operate the same way and take the same ammunition. They don't have the same body, so they are ok? I don't know what the answer is but a ban on "assault weapons". Doesn't make sense.
1
What do you mean supposedly? This is the reason the military is heading to the border.
1
De mortuis nil nisi bonum
1
Regina Buttons and Trump has kept it going at a better than average rate. When Trump announced tax cuts some companies even came out with higher staffing level directly relating it to Trump. I could be wrong but I don't remember anyone doing that for Obama.
1
@UCfkT8B_nUiySy_uMvJGgZAA Republicans don't care about universal health care. Overall I do believe crime is down but some neighbourhoods are really facing trouble and more care needs to be taken. Both sides pretend to care during campaigning and then forgot about it shortly after.
1
"Trump coming to power has not been good for anybody." If you believe this you are blind.
1
He is correct. "Lab tests have shown the anti-malaria drug can block coronaviruses from infecting cells in a cell culture model." All he is doing is asking questions MSM is asking
1
Said Mypillow guy is lying and providing now evidence... while providing no evidence
1
It's not a bad system. Though I don't know the full benefit of being part of a gun club for restricted firearms.
1
I don't see how it is much different than the sin tax on booze in Canada. For this method is the government keeping the difference or are the manufactors just allowed/forced to charge more?
1
Why is what always conservative countries? Italy isn't conservative and they have a huge number of cases. Do you mean not relying on the government?
1
@Gui1The They like Italy, UK, Spain?? You can talk specifically about Brazil or other countries like Belarus. But that is not addressing the initial comment of "always conservative"
1
The police shouldn't be interviewing them. They are being investigated. I really wish you would play the ball down the middle when reporting.
1
Sounds like they could control it if they wanted to.
1
I think people are disliking because the video seems disingenuous. Countries with health care that is touted to be better have more deaths per capita. If you are going to have a conversation about the current should be challenging the interviewees statements it accepting them as facts.
1
Only separated if they don't go through proper point of entry and if they after going through a none sactioned border they claim asylum. They thing I wonder a bit about this situation is why are these people seeking asylum in the first place? Why would they not fix the country they are coming from? Or are these countries just too far gone?
1
i have concern about Biden and a quid pro quo as well. The transcript, to me, does not show a quid pro quo but does show failure on the part of President Trump. If it wasn't a concern prior to Biden entering the race Trump should be leaving it up to someone else to investigate and not mention it.
1
@brentcarrington2291 Are you saying I have an unconstitutional attitude? I literally said "There shouldn't be any grandfathering"
1
st prch You're correct. but I don't know how that has anything to do with what I said... Regardless of detention or arrest that is plenty of time to find out what you are being expected of doing. While they are giving orders or trying to put cuffs on you is not the time
1
"'If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black'"
1
If this was truly a big political advantage Sanders would still be in the running. Young people need to stop hoping the government will do something and do it themselves. Make your voices heard with how you act and how you spend your dollars. For the best and the brightest, start thinking of tech to help the situation.
1
@XSemperIdem5 Condoms are 98% effective; add birth control and cycle monitoring as back ups, you won't be getting pregnant. Of course there is also abstinence. And if that all fails... adoption
1
@NotSure723 You are right. I think the OP is suggesting that, if responsible, it wouldn't come to abortion.
1
@simontemplar404 For sure. At least from what I have seen, in some cases, the answer is already provided. Look at the sugar and fat studies, where they demonized fat and propped up sugar as the superior taste enhancer. I don't know that you can change business. You need to make the science part much more stringent
1
@genestarwind4610 I'm not an anti vaxxer at all. I work with vulnerable people on a daily basis. When I got the job, I went and got a antibody test to make sure I was all caught up. Vaccines are amazing, at least from what I can tell the Covid vaccine has been highly studied in mutiple countries and is safe. Outside of that there just seems to be some really bad examples of individuals that have chosen to take a pay day rather than do the right thing. I find it very sad
1
@astrixastrid so what demographic is higher?
1
... what about not allowing felons to have arms? What about background checks?
1
Why didn't Obama make more headway on this?
1
@Tearakan Bernie is at the top 1%. He is a hypocrite.
1
Why does someone need to look like you to receive support? Seems racist to me. Black people aren't believed when they say they are in labour? I'd like to see the stats "research" on this one. I could get behind them being believed less if it isn't painfully obvious. Black mothers are lost more often... does poverty have anything to do with this, if you looked at it from a below 20k a year wages for instance. Sounds like the OB is more pissed that you aren't married compared to anything to do with the colour of your skin A successful birth is the birthing person feels empowered?? I know what all these words mean, but this is not the mark of a successful birth. Perfect, Lauren Underwood sounds very intelligent. What are the barriers in health care she is talking about? Why are the doula services less accessible for women in your community? Again I think this has more to do with poverty than melanin.
1
@bri1085 Wouldn't that be a greater argument for natives to get repatriations compared to blacks?
1
@bri1085 exactallly.Colonialism is about overtaking a country with settlers and exploiting it. Blacks in America haven't been effected by this. You could make the argument that people who are in Africa are facing this now but not in America.
1
They can charge with posting fake news in Cambodia? CNN better stay out of Cambodia
1
@wrux Alex Jones is a nut case. Since he was removed from Youtube I don't see much of him.
