  6. But everyone loves the Syrian government? At least that it what VICE was saying a few days ago. Why would he ever leave? Oh he doesn't like the government and their rules? I believe this is way closer to the truth regarding how Syrians feel about their government. There seems to be at least a few options for Hassan Al Kontar but he just refuses them. He won't be able to work but get the refugee status, get some help, and then focus on a new job.

I don't understand why they can't find a constructive way to deal with "beefs". I find it funny that they were vandalizing a house even during the interview. People are addicted to their clothing and cheap goods from China/India. Regardless of who is president I guarantee you nothing will dramatically change in the next 4 years. The population refuses to go without their modern conveniences provided by petroleum. All that zinc, cobalt, plastic needed for your new Iphone 12(that you don't need) has to come from somewhere. No haul truck is going to be operated by electricity. Not to mention all those Starbucks cups that are thrown out every day, even prior to Covid. People won't even take the little inconvenience of carrying their own travel mug, at least the majority of Starbucks patrons.

  18.  @birdieguan  I am talking specifically about what he said. You are under the belief that he set up these payments before the shut down, didn't get paid, so the payments returned as NSF. There is nothing to suggest that this was the case. If he knows he doesn't have the money and payments are due it is his responsibility to inform the business. Try putting yourself in the girl's shoes that has to call all these people trying to collect To be fair I don't know that he wrote the checks after the shut down. More effort should be made to not live pay check to pacy check. It is possible.

For example: Government can restrict/ban plastic drinking straws and it would be quite significant considering 500 million straws are used a day in USA. Now consider that if everyday citizens, who purport to care about the environment, just refused to use a straw. The result would be very similar. Then these same citizens don't just not use straws but make mutiple changes. Next you will say these small changes won't do anything or make that much of a difference. 1) any change to limit pollution and climate change should be encouraged 2) Many small changes makes for noticeable change, 50% of people now ride a bike to errands and not drive? Huge. 50% of people use renewable energy in their own home like solar panels, massive. 3) Your opinion and money matters, If these same people only supported companies that support ideals, like green energy, etc. companies will either adapt or die.

  28. That's right. 2007 flooding was worse in the region. Jakarta has had flooding probelms for decades. Some of it is linked to garbage being dumped in the lakes,canals and rivers. Other issues are topographical and its proximity to the Java Sea. Ground water extraction is another issue that is seemingly make the north half of the capital sink. It is humans playing a huge part. But it's not "man made global warming"

Laws aren't really about trust. As I get older I base my opinions on my experience mostly. I have not seen people "bend a spoon with consciousness." I have not heard of or have proof that a person can will the vaccination out of their body. I have not become magnetic because o the vaccine. I take everything told to me with a grain of salt. That being said, It's hard to take something at face value that may be true when the person telling you it follows up with "and I'm certain that there is a race of reptilians trying to take over the planet."
