"Due to Germany's history, banning parties is extremely rare" Er, most places that are functional democracies, banning parties is completely unheard-of.

In the end, they always come for the kids. That's why tolerating them in the first place, is a mistake.

The fact that Europe wasn't the one to do this strike, when traffic through the Suez Canal had basically come to a standstill for over a year because of this, means Europe is just as pathetic a JD Vance says it is.

"It belongs in a British museum" Because the natives would most likely destroy it otherwise. Untold numbers of priceless and irreplaceable artifacts from Chinese history were smashed during the Cultural Revolution. In many cases, the only surviving pieces were taken by the British (and other Europeans) during the 19th century. If they really wanted a good spinoff of Indiana Jones, they would have had Short Round racing to save as many as possible.

It's almost as if "we just want to be left alone" was always a lie.
35
I wonder if he was Walz' CIA handler. The dude glows, look at his picture.
28
The other picture of him looks like a glowstick.
20
That's a good start =)

@brjones27 They're trying. It ultimately will lead to another conflict, and America might have to step in again to liberate the country -- and help provide the logistics to re-migrate non-Germans.
15
"You do you" was just an invitation to these people, to do everything they want -- including go for the kids.
15
@sthsth2846 Propaganda is when you get paid to say what you're saying here, eh?
14
@SSJ_Derp But they did it anyway -- they touched the boats. Sun incoming. Twice.
13
"It's not just this one company that's doing this" I think it's Midnight's Edge that has a list of like the top 10 companies that provide this service.
12
"The sanctity of centers of knowledge" Yup. This guy is just as religious as any Christian, it's just that his religion isn't Christian. Note how he's flipping out because his religion is taking flak.
12
Parents on the West Coast should either be prepared to fight -- in the courts if possible, in the streets if not -- or be prepared to leave.

Galileo discovered two things -- that there were shadow-casting mountains on the Moon (and therefore it was not a perfect orb) and there were moons around Jupiter (which would have pierced the crystal sphere that Jupiter supposedly rode on.) The Church was too committed to Aristotelian thinking, which insisted on a geocentric universe because in a heliocentric universe we would observe stellar parallax. Because stellar parallax is not visible by the n*ked eye, Aristotle concluded that the universe was geocentric. The Church allowed Galileo to publish his findings but insisted that he publish them as a dialog or debate. Galileo published it thusly, but named the man representing the Church's view "Simplicio", an Italian word meaning "idiot" or "simpleton". Galileo's persecution is based on this act of bad faith.

Then you hold the attorneys and legislatures accountable. At some point people are going to snap, and it's not going to be pretty.
10
@noneyabizz8337 It's just like back before the Reconquista. This has been their attitude about European Christian girls for literally centuries.
10
@Utoobispublisher Yup. I suspect that the most influential celebrity endorsement of the campaign was... Hulk Hogan. Whether you could hear what he was saying or not, his message came through loud and clear -- "Remember the 80's? The 80's were great, weren't they. Trump is gonna bring the 80's back."

Companies that don't use illegals should be able to sue those that do, for anti-competitive practices. If your company lost a contract to a company that uses illegal labor, your company should be able to sue to get that contract.
9
Yes, please do.

See an anime called Violet Evergarden. It's also about delivering mail to soldiers. It's a rip-your-heart-out sentimental look at what's in those letters, and what they mean to the soldiers -- all far from home, to which many would never return. But the Wokies look at that story, and make it all about them. Everything Woke turns to s**t.
9
Mostly because regular Germans were fed up with the "street actions" of Antefa (yes, the same "summer of love" Antefa that we had back in 2020.) Oh, and community organizers had a lot to do with it too.
9
Because people were taught to be afraid of saying anything against anyone on any point on the Rainbow acronym. Because we caved in when they "just wanted to be left alone" / "just wanted civil unions" / "just wanted to get married". The only solution is to stand up and say NO to ALL of it.
9
"It's like it's 2012" Everything seemed to go to s**t around then, didn't it?
9
@blairpenny1526 YouTube has its thumb on the thumbs-up. There are some videos that probably have 2x the views, and 5x-10x the likes, that YouTube shows. And that's just plain data manipulation, before the effect that the throttling would have on the video's virality.
9
"He's a joke. What an embarrassment." Gaving Newsom says that like he's practiced it in a mirror (or heard it said to him) thousands of times.
8
At least they're getting treatment now. All of them should.
8
"They just don't respect the law" When the law is abused to go after people for their politics -- peaceful politics that everyone recognized as normal forty years ago -- people lose a certain amount of respect for the law, it's true.
8
@peterwulff469 Are you sure the votes are accurately counted?
8
@SoCalG310 Rule #1: Men are always wrong. Rule #2: In cases where Rule #1 doesn't seem to apply, use Rule #1.
7
"Slippery slope is a fallacy" -- No, it is not. It is a condition, dependent on whether there is pushback. This is textbook Controls Engineering. If you have pushback (a "restoring force") you have a pendulum effect, known as a "stable equilibrium". If you have no pushback, (absent or negative "restoring force") you have a slippery slope, known as "unstable equilibrium".
6
It will be interesting to see the AfD get a clear majority in the next election.
6
@ Turkey, Russia, and China. Interesting note -- they also have a habit of suppressing political opposition.
5
Well, she does talk like a preschool teacher.
5
What the US would be if we didn't have a Second Amendment.
5
Imagine the deterrent effect when you do both. =)
5
It's literally the difference between natural and artificial. "If it's natural it will happen on its own without any medical intervention" is a good argument.
4
Or just Democrat party discipline enforcers? Or is there a difference?
4
Gotta make peace with the Eastern Christians first, or it will fail.
4
It's almost as if there's someone pushing the idea.
4
That's known in military circles as a "target rich environment".
4
The word you're looking for is "Reconquista".
4
Asmon: "These people can't get a nuke because they don't fear death, so mutually assured destruction wouldn't work on them" Also Asmon: "These people will surrender because they're afraid of death."

I'm old enough to remember when all they wanted was "civil unions". They said it was silly to think that marriage could be changed. Since then I've counted up the number of kids I knew who leaned that way, and counted up the number of them that were abuse victims, and came out with numbers that leave no shadow of a doubt that abuse is one of if not THE major cause. Oh, and since then I've also had some of them get in touch to try to fit back into society after going to prison for .pdf filing. Yeah, the trope "They don't reproduce so they recruit" is 100% true.
3
Or you are very mentally unwell.
3
"If you could get a refund after they cancel the game, things would be fine" -- This "refund" idea is a non-starter, a blood-from-a-stone pipe dream. If they cancel the game because it's not breaking even anymore, where will the refund money come from? The money they already collected already went to dev salaries and paying off the loans they used to pay the dev salaries before they saw a cent of customer revenue. I think that the only plausible solution here is to have licensed private servers, where the license fee is enough to cover the costs of making sure anyone playing on the private server, legit bought the game in the first place.
3
@dmurray2978 That's turning around. The more they resist getting back to normal, the more severe the backlash will be.
3
"Why is the Right so adamantly against the Constitutional right to protest?" 1st amendment, according to Conservatives: "Government has no right to police our conversations, religion, or opinions" 1st amendment, according to activists: "Government has no right to keep us from shutting down infrastructure and throwing broken-up cinder blocks at people" Can you spot the difference?
3
"in an 1100-page report" Yeah, that part's going to backfire too. If their argument is, "You have to have read this 1100-page report to have an opinion", that's just going to p*ss people off.
