  3. I hated this question, but mostly cause I am beyond sick of these terms and people continuing to believe they have any validity whatsoever!... The whole small government talking point is such a crock of shit, as when the whole era of this crap began; starting with that senile crook in the 80's. Washington was utterly infested with corporate lobbyists and the government exploded in size in turn due to this. Small government my fucking ass!! The rich have "always" liked big government. It's only services that benefit the middle and working class that they label as evil big government!

  5. Well said.. I gotta remember this. As I have a real tendency to really dislike the founding fathers. (Also, being native American enhances this.) But I think it's the mainstrean, fundamentalist attitude surrounding them that mostly leads to this dislike even hatred.

  16. They're are some ugly pretty stories about unions up north. (corrupt unions, aka: union thugs have and do still exist in some states.) What the right does down here is take these stories and paint in across the entire US labor movement. Plus for the racist, bigot vote they add the old dog whistle politics equating northern union yank = lazy black moocher. I semi-support unions however I think they truely need a 'serious' overhaul in how they are setup and function.
