***** American RW Libertarian ideology is so appealing due to its simplistic answer for all the nations issues. (blame gov for everything, private sector can do no wrong.) Then it gets its followers hooked into a web of conspiracy theories and tons of Mccarthyist rhetoric, They stay focused on this crap while, ignoring the sea of corporate lobbying and favoritism in DC that, in turn, expands the power and scope of the government.
Some RW Libertartians I've talked to are smarter than this and don't fall for this ruse, (unlike the braindead teabags!). However, they then, as always, blame the gov for this corruption and not the corporate lobbyists and the oligarchs who fund them. Of course as always they're answer is more deregulation and more push for a true free market.
However, this leads to a conundrum, They admit that corporations constantly use the government to get favorable perks and benffits, (The anti-thesis of free market ideology) but at the same time these same corps are the ones funding the spreading of free market ideology. But... If a free market destroy's the lobbying and revolving door system in DC, Mega-corps would ultimately be destroying their own cushy system and thus their own power in the government?
Conclusion, the dogma of the free market fundementalism and the interests of transnational corporations contradict each other... Thus the only logical conclusion is that mega-corps 'never' intended to follow the market fundementalist dogma in the first place.
Of course, many RW Libertarians can not see this contradiction due to being blinded by Austrian school bunk or Ayn Rand's nietzschean worship of perfect, moral CEO's and Bankers. Cause then they'd have to admit that they're heroes are, in fact, hypocritical, opportunist crooks, which, in turn their whole ideology and worldview crumbles like a house of cards.

***** Anarcho-capitalism makes the same crankish/utopian argument that the anarchists and commies made in the late 19th century, "Get rid of all government and everyone will somehow live rationally and voluntarily with each other."
pphh.. Please... If such a massive power vacuum is created the whole idea that the powerful are not going to exploit that vacuum for their own gain is beyond naive. Especially when pertaining to a group that puts unlimited greed and selfishness as prime virtues. (Yeah, like they're actually going to stay pure and ethical due to some strict economic fundementalism, that ultimately no one would be even watching them to make sure they follow properly. The whole ideal is absolutely ridiculous and built on nothing but blind faith.
The Paul-bot club is kinda faded out now, (Rand doesn't have the same flare as Ron did.) The thing with Ron Paul was that he hit the nail on the head, when it came to the evils of the MIC and our never-ending warmongering, the out of control NSA surveilance machine, plus his whole legalize pot thing was very popular among millenials. However, under all that was a plan to 'shock doctrine' the crap out of us with a massive dose Austrian school crankery. Plus they're was his lovely economic policies permitting Jim Crow policies to be allowed once again. (Probably the reason why I've very rarely ever run into a black RW Libertarian.)
Still, He never had a chance in hell of winning, even with that Wall St. wank Peter Thiel funding him. But many of his crankish austro-tard economic policies are now spewed daily from our Teabag infested congress.

It's hard... very hard. Republicans are soooo irritating and infuriating cause they are so black and white in their thinking! It drives me nuts!! There is no such thing a nuance to them, especially the religious ones. DX
(But even in my anger, I still manage to feel sorry for them. I hate seeing people getting constantly conned and ripped off.)
But Gahh!! It's always the same reprocessed talking points I been hearing since I was little; no changes at all. The same gov is bad/evil garbage they've been told to spout since that rotten, lying crook St. Ronnie the stupid!
However, when I 'do' manage to get through to them on some things, they just short circuit. Mainly cause I hit them with deep topics and ideas that are 'never' discussed on Faux News, and hence have no programmed rebuttals.
And I'm not talking Bernie buzzword talking points, (which actually get on my nerves!) Even though I still highly respect the guy. No, I'm talking deep systematic processes, that I've been thinking about for the past nine years since the crash of 08. Very hard to explain or even put into a political box, but all I can really say it that my ideals are libertarian left? with some tolerated nuance to the economic right, 'if' certain variables are allowed, or if needed checks and balances are put into place. I detest rigid economic dogmas from either the right or left!!
