  1. The Raygun Revolution was selfish, arrogance and short sided stupidity! As a millennial born in 87, it pisses me off to no end that so many people fell for and went along with this me-only crap, not caring about it's long term consequences. My mom says it was because so many thought the nukes we're gonna fly any day back then. And thus people thus lived for the moment. Still, that excuse just doesn't absolve it for me.

Then it really is the right wing Greatest Gen, Slients and early Boomers that voted for Nixon who really started this process of deconstruction and decay. As by voting for him, the far economic right got it's dirty hooks into the supreme court and legalized such bribery. (Aka: The Buckley decision.)
