  2. I don’t believe Raymond didn’t know about that first baby. She said she was “babysitting for a friend”, BUT he banned her from seeing anyone. Friends and family. So how would he be okay with her agreeing to watch someone’s baby without his ok?!

  3. I do think we have to also acknowledge Jonathan. Not only is his dad dead, his mom nearly died and then to find out it’s his brother. And he didn’t doubt it. Because he somehow KNEW Chris was not a normal kid. But all that trauma… so horrific.

  4. Poor Jason. I’m crying here that Jason was left with this tragedy. He loved his wife and kids and blamed himself for the affair. Seems like such a wonderful man. Brandy however is a narcissistic monster. And her parents are ATROCIOUS! I can guarantee if one of my daughters killed all her kids I sure as Hell wouldn’t attack her husband for HER actions. But then again they’re how she got to this selfish, self centered, murderous person she is today. Praying for Jason and his family.

  5. I pretty much sobbed through this whole video. From the moment the father was murdered I started to cry. Especially when the mother was surrounding Jayme with her body to try to keep her safe. My heart just breaks for Jayme.

  6. I can assure you, being sexually abused by family members and having your mother not fight to save you truly affects your self esteem. Especially when in school your friends’ moms are all supportive and sweet. My friends always said “Wow your mom is such a b***h!” And they were right.

  9. My thoughts exactly! I couldn’t accept on my mind if one of my babies ( mind you the youngest is 23) were to try to kill me. Plus it’s possible that she does know he did so but she couldn’t bear to see her baby in jail. Maybe a “there’s already been enough trauma to this family” thing. Or she is filled with guilt. “where did I go wrong?!? How could he do this?!?! I must’ve been a terrible mom. I shouldn’t have swatted his bottom when he’d do something bad!! This is definitely all my fault.” Either way I DO believe she nodded her head saying Chris did it, but recanted for whatever reason.

  10. I thought of that as well. It’s not like this was going on in the 50’s. This went on in 2001! When my dad died in a car accident I got $70k from his life insurance. ( still would trade it for him). This was in ‘96 and, thanks to my narcissistic first husband, the money was gone in 3 months. He went crazy! And that was nearly 30 years ago! So $40k in 2001 … that’s ridiculous.

  12. I completely agree! I am seriously thinking I’d like to send him letters. I also was s/a as a child and I always wanted someone to stop the abuse. To just come and beat the crap out of my abusers. I’m 57 now and I still am effected by the abuse.

  17. When I was in my early teens my sister, who is 5 years younger, would push, hit or just even verbally be mean to her friends. And with her always complaining to my mom, it became my job to help her win back her friends. Then of course my sister would be angry her friends wanted to play with me and not her so she’d AGAIN lose the friends and my mom would again tell me to go help my sister get her friends back. And then my sister would complain to my mom that I was trying to steal her friends. Yep there I was at 13, wishing I could hang out with 8year olds instead of kids my age, who I called my best friends. Oddly my mom believed it because she’d say “Dee you’re supposed to help her make up with her friends not monopolize her friends!” But then, if my brothers ( I have 3) came up to physically harass me ( like bending my arm behind my back, spitting snot into my hair, pulling my hair or, my brother Tom’s fave, forcing my face into his sweaty armpit) my mom would say “Denise leave your brothers alone! “ So I can relate a bit to Christie’s frustration .

  25.  @lovelydarkness2010  I view it like a battered wife who tries to get away a couple of times and nearly loses her life when the spouse finds her. She knows she has to leave him, has to get away or he will surely kill her, but she’s too afraid he would catch her again. So she kills him. She didn’t technically HAVE TO, but really she did. Because the abuse would never end while the abuser is alive. Same for Gypsy. It’s not at all okay that she gets him to kill her mom, but can anyone say they honestly would do things different if they lived through all that? And if you say you would I would ask you , when was it you were in a domestic violence situation? Because THAT is the only time I would believe you that you’d do everything differently. Walk a mile in someone else’s shoes…

  27.  @erinerin561  yeah I live in a basement apartment on 40 acres and there are broken down things everywhere. They even have a mobile home on the land that someone moved here 30 years ago, but he died and my landlady’s family just left it. It part of the woods and wildlife own it now. There are broken down tractors, lawnmowers, motor homes, greenhouses, sheds, children’s swing sets, large parts from tractors, parts from planes ( my landlady’s dad was a pilot) and so much other stuff. They cut down trees and just leave them fell where it landed. I routinely have to drag tree branches out of the way so I can get to the road. It’s aggravating, but the tent is cheap.

  29. It was NEVER about “saving the marriage”. Kelly wanted Chris dead because he chose to leave. And she wanted Jason to do it so she could say “He killed him in a jealous fit! I had nothing to do with it!” Good thing I never eat bbqed meat. Hate charbroiled food. Now if they put it in the potato salad, as long as they use mayo, I am going to eat it.😂 Can I say though, why is it I love listening to true crime videos and watching forensic files? I wind up thinking how horrid us humans really can be to one another. Laying in bed thinking “We humans really are disgusting.” But then I already know that. 13 years of sexual, physical and emotional abuse as a child by family members instilled that in my brain.

I remember in the early days of Facebook, I would logon, and there would be a video of some Asian woman in high heels or a mini skirt or both and they would on small animals ( kittens, puppies, or rabbits) or there would be videos of people setting animals on fire. I would report it to Facebook every single time, as tears are streaming down my face, and Facebook’s answer was always “ This didn’t violate our terms of service.” EDIT: Danielle I just want to say “thank you” for all that you do. While I was watching this I needed to take a ton of breaks. T the animal torture, the killing of the 13yo, Sergei’s murder… and I thought “if I cannot make it through this video how does poor Danielle research it?!?!

  32. I’m with you on this. I have fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis in both knees and 5 slipped discs. Pain gets BAD. But I also have a dog and a cat who didn’t ask to come into my life. So I go to work to afford food for them. I buy them food and treats. I bring the dog, a chiweenie, outside. And I empty the kitty litter. Because they deserve that care and then some. And I did the same for my kids before they left the nest.

  39. Same! My kids ( including my stepkids from my a-hole ex) are my reason for living. Along with my grandkids. Hell when I divorced my ex I SOBBED because I thought his kids would have nothing to do with me ( loyalty issue). But they flat out told him they would never cut me out of theirs or their kids lives. He now has nothing to with them and I feel horrible about that, but my eldest told me “that was HIS choice to act like a child”. And she was a daddy’s girl, so this isolation has been tough for her. I just NOTHING would get me to turn on any of my kids.

  40. When you were asking why Franklin would kidnap Michael I thought of a heartbreaking story I read about another little boy. This lady gets arrested for beating up her son on a regular basis and starving him. Loses custody. Kid is in foster care and is thriving. Foster parents love him and want to adopt him. The mom however doesn’t want him adopted so she contacts the dad and tells him “hey you’re a dad! Go get our son.” The dad does so, contesting the adoption. But he doesn’t want the kid for more than just food stamps. Kids mom gets out of jail and dad doesn’t want kid so she takes kid back and kills the kid. When asked why she did what she did, why she kept the kid from being happy in a new home she said “I didn’t get a happy life so why should he.” I paraphrased there but that’s in essence what she said. And I think that’s what Franklin was thinking. “When I was that age my life was crappy, so why should Michael get a happy one!”

  41. No way, if I was Kevin, that I’d allow there to be no contact between me and my children. F Ruby and Jodi if they think that was going to work against me. And yes I know Jodi would vilify men who thwart her, but that’d be hard to do if you plan in advance and get evidence on her. And get a GREAT lawyer. No it’s more like Kevin just wanted his sociopathic wife back. The kids meant absolutely NOTHING or he’d have stepped up when it was only Ruby abusing them.

  42. My two daughters and my stepson were seeing therapists in 2007 -2009. My daughters because they were devastated when their dad left and moved across country. I merely brought up with their pediatrician. My stepson was also affected by divorce. There was lots of acrimony between his parents and despite me harping on it with my husband ( now my ex) he and his ex were ALWAYS dragging their son into their fights. Wanting him to spy on or even steal from ( things they didn’t get in the divorce). And the mom would call us drunk and want to talk to her son. And she’d be verbally abusive to him. I would hang up on her but he’d lash out at me because that was his mom. Plus he’d get verbal twofold the next time they saw each other. So he became a very angry teen. So I’d drive them all to therapy and it was a good 45 min to an hour to get to them. So there’s no reason Alyssa couldn’t be in therapy except the grandparents not pushing for it.

  43. I was so excited when, at work, I saw the notification for a new video from you! I’m at the beginning of his life and I’m wondering if Steven was abused by mom ( and maybe dad) and that’s why he was so withdrawn and didn’t want to live with her. Not making excuses, but … we know how often these killers have had horrific experiences in childhood. And her resenting being a single mom… why did she get custody then. Especially as Steven didn’t want to live with her. Dad didn’t want him either, I feel. Again NOT an excuse for being a serial killer. I feel so bad for all the women, but Suzanne! Thinking she’s escaped, running for her life, probably screaming and NO ONE investigates the screaming. Oh and the moment Steven got rid of my dogs THAT would have been when I leave him. He nearly kills you, won’t take you to hospital, laughs that you’re going to die and then does away with the dogs and you stay?!?! I nearly stabbed my husband for nearly running over my pomeranian puppy, on purpose, in front of our daughter. Instead I kicked him out.

Not a mental health anything but did take psychology courses when I was studying to be a nurse and I did not believe at all Paris gave up his hatred of the new child ( Ella) when she was born. I believe it was an act/persona he portrayed because it was expected of him. And I believe that once his mom relapsed his fragile respect he had for her disappeared and that’s when he started planning everything he did that found him in jail.

  48. I honestly have NO idea how all these cases of abuse happen to kids that are homeschooled. Here in WA when I was homeschooling my daughter there was MANDATORY state testing. Granted that’s just once a year, but that still could have helped Lacey if the state required her to have to come to a testing site to prove she was learning. My daughter was doing so well homeschooling that she tested higher than 90% of the rest of kids her age in WA. She went to a regular high school because she needed PE credits. I could have probably done that ( guide her through physical education as well) for her, but I needed to work as much OT as I could to afford our rent.

  50. My stepsister was diagnosed with bipolar polar disorder after the birth of her daughter at the age of 27. But I am sure she had been showing signs of it before then. She was just a powerhouse in business and I was in awe of her for quite awhile. Though I was worried for her daughter, because my sister would go off her meds and be crazy. The courts had to order her to stay on her meds if she even wanted visitation with her daughter ( father had full custody because of her mental issues). Once her daughter graduated high school, back in 2014, my sister ( 49 at the time) went completely off her meds and became seriously paranoid. To the extent she lost her home, bounced around living with people but then was sure ALL of these people wanted to SA assault her. Her pastor AND his wife. Her best friend and her husband. Even their teen son. Other friends. Women at women only shelters. Even her daughter’s husband. And my bf who helped move her stuff from a storage space to my home. She didn’t move anything he did all the loading/unloading because she had to not get close to him because he wanted to rape her - this after she calls me last minute at work and I ask him if he could help her as he’s leaving work. Also at this time federal government wanted to kill her because she was actually born in Russia and was planted as a child with my stepdad and his wife after training from birth to be a killer ( Think Little Nikita or Black Widow). So she had to stay moving around the country. She was in a bad car accident in 2019 and they had a psychiatrist evaluate her ( because she was crazy at the hospital) and he said she was a bi polar paranoid schizophrenic. Her daughter has the medical documents. She stayed with her daughter ( husband and their son) for a few months and then just abruptly left and went to Hawaii. It’s been a few months so I’m not sure where she is now. I try to keep in tough with my niece but I prefer to ask about her family rather than her mom.  @sophiapatti7606
