I'm happy with "phoned in videos"!
4
Take note, more than an adjustable wrench was used! LoL 😂😆

Yep, no videos! I usually judge a channel by it's content. Need at least a hello video. EDIT I caved, sub #342.
3
And this one! Problem solved!! 😂😅😂😅
3
Hey Wess, great to see your channel growing! You're doing well!
3
@firesurfer now I need to find this!
3
Thanks for the video. I've reused copper sealing washers and never have had one leak.
3
You're wrong, that truck frame rail is a 20 minute fix! Send it to me! 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20500

Respect!

He's growing up! With two very intelligent parents, a dog and lots of shop time, he'll have a wealth of knowledge to give him a broad selection of what he wants to do in life. He'll probably be a teacher at an automotive training school!

Talk about grounding. On my '85 Dodge 1 ton I was having starting issues. I was thinking it was carb issues. When I was fiddling with the carb, I brushed my arm against the hot manual choke cable! Yes, the eng was being grounded via the choke cable!

@lordjaashin she's married and has moved on in life.

Any trouble codes set? Pending codes?
3
Expense or fright?! LoL 🤣😆

Always enjoy listening to your past experiences! After watching the JD head gasket replacement, respect gained!

However, you probably work in +/- .125". This was probably +/- .03125"!
3
@mikespain8655 definitely takes work! Being a video creator, I fully understand that!
3
Drive it out!

I'm guessing the accuracy of the $3000 joysticks and the very lower cost one Wes choice out of his lower budget allowed on this project is required to deliver slight changes the operator delivers. Didn't understand everything you wrote about, but was able to catch enough to understand the basic idea.
3
Liked Thanks for the video! Thanks for recording your mistakes! When you forgot the bolts that hold an oil passage on one of the rusty trucks, that encouraged me to pay attention more to my own projects!
3
@WatchWesWork <-------- this guy is okay with it! LoL 🤣😆 Never know what music tune is coming up next!!😂

Two Subaru engines had oil rings just as caked as this one. We have an Equinox with the 2.4. Just experienced the rear seal delete because of a plugged PCV hole in the intake manifold. Don't be fooled by the "vented oil cap" saving the rear seal! It might be vented, but the force to open the vent is more than the strength of the seal!
3
Yep, don't be a parts changer! #ScannerDanner
3
Hey Matt! Good to see you here!
3
@vsanti83 Wes was on his channel too?
3
@erikgonzalez2278 What condition is the body? Rusty? Can you do your own work?

Today's trivia: RTV = Room Temperature Valconation

I can draw those parts. Haven't done CNC mill or lathe. Programmed and ran a flame table.
2
LoL 😂😆 Minnesota doesn't have any either.

Another MN guy here.

What shape did you make the business end?
2
@TheDisgruntledMechanic throw all of the jiggly bits in the box. Value added. The disassembly process is one thing the rebuilder doesn't have to do.
2
@WatchWesWork $3 cutting boards is the answer!

Sorry if I missed this in the video. No delay startup when warm is because? 1. ECU components aren't fully failing when warm? 2. Oil pressure is allowed to build with a hot engine verse a cold one? Diesel line has a small leak and it leaks down over time and requires higher RPM to draw the fuel? 3. I wasn't paying attention and all of the above were mentioned....
2
 @DanEBoyd LoL 🤣😆
2
@JimsNBHomestead yep! Or Matt at Diesel Creek!
2
Rev up tune up!

Different first run/fire laugh! LoL 😂

Fairly new sub here. Thanks for the video. Are you concerned about the grid heater? I agree it's probably not working because the lack of a draw on the amp meter.

@WatchWesWork we all have strengths in our own areas!

Dodge Dakota somewhere around 2006. Friend asked me to take a look at it because it wouldn't start. Got there, the battery was dead. Jumper cables to the rescue. Got it turning over. Got it to run with the accelerator halfway down. Anything less it would stall. Depressed the valve in the fuel test port. Fuel smelled like..... diesel. Asked him if it was possible if diesel got put in the tank. He denied that happened. I have a feeling that it drove home with the fuel mix, and then wouldn't restart being cold on the mix. Now, the whole reason why I started this post. He asked about fixing it. I started looking under it. The frame was actually bending because of how much was rusted away! The truck was only staying off of the ground because the box was against the back of the cab! He admitted he heard creaking as he drove it. Went to the salvage yard.

Probably brushes hanging up. You knocking it around removing it probably unhung them allowing commentator contact.
2
You really should be using a hammer to drive those nails! . . . . . . . . . . LoL 🤣😆 WoW what a generous gift from the viewer who did more than tell you what you need, made it happen!
2
His sarcasm and wit will confuse AI!
2
When one door closes, another one opens, . . . . Other than that, the truck is fine!
2
How did I miss this video?!? Great job!
