Liked Thanks for the video! Life is a learning curve! HINDSIGHT is 20-15? Not even going to mention "powers of cheapness"! 😂

Just when you started explaining why the cooling fans were on, my mind went directly to Fail-Safe mode. Nice writing! Can actually read it! At what point do should we check for a leak in the AC system? Didn't know you have AC tools.

Technically, you didn't even have to do the crank sensor relearn. You got it running... But good on you for doing it!

@classicrestoration YEP! A fuel source just sitting not fastened down on a device that'll rattle your teeth!?!
1
I had someone try and tell me that if you don't hold a torque wrench directly on the handle, you won't get correct torque.... I listened, but doubted the information!
1
Only change your oil a few times per the life of the vehicle! Right? ;)

Nice to know some of your background! I was doing some CAD for a small machine shop. Next thing I know he drops $30,000 on a TorchMate CNC plasma cutter. Having never ran one before, I got it up and running. Did that for about 2 years. U kept telling him he needed dry air. Wouldn't listen! But was shure happy to complain about amount of slag! Would like to get my own sometime. Sure miss the ability to design and cut whatever!

The best question: Why did you have compression on 1 the first time around, and lose it all n future testing?

Living in MN, I very seldom lift on the pinch welds for fear of going through them!

Mustie1 has a new video!! Hasn't shown up on my notifications! Going hunting!

It's all about reading the speed and fluid pressure.

Had a Civic that was running and then died. Had everything to run. Didn't want to fire the parts cannon and start replacing parts. Reached the end if my rope and had the customer take it to another shop. They replaced the distributor and it fired right up! Somewhere I have a short video of me cranking it over with the plugs laying close to their holes. Each cylinder blew flames as I cranked it over. Don't know what happened to the old distributor.

At what point could you go full time YouTube? Subscriber numbers and viewing hours? Enjoy your videos.
1
So, do you agree/disagree with the charges? At first I thought you agreed. But the last sentence.?

Sarcasm runs strong at WWW!

How would one start figuring out what channel the receivers are?
1
How do you charge for broken bolts? Time and materials?
1
At the time of this writing you have 330,000+ subscribers! Congratulations!!

@WatchWesWork $3 cutting board! Non removable feet!

I guess the owner understood Wes missing the bent axle!

I was struggling to bleed a rear caliper on an 1978 Yamaha xs 500. Must of gone through a small can of brake fluid. Still spongy. So, I tried my HF Venturi AC vacuum. It took more time to rig up hoses then to get the air out! Nice firm pedal! Oh, Ivan, because of me searching for information on the XS, I found your channel. FYI

My rusty sanity check project. 1941 Farmall H Bought it running needing a carb clean. https://youtu.be/7w-FFV0QL1A

I remember when Stereolithography came out! Yep, 3D printers have come along ways!
1
I found your channel when you were in "location X". Doing questionable things to get engines moving again. Wasn't impressed! Thankfully, you got out of that stuff and more repair oriented. My 3¢

Had a guy bring me a 1995 Dodge Spirit which is used for delivery in his pizza business. Turn signal fuse would randomly blow. Started working on it. Found when the right turn turn signal was used once per key on, the fuel pump would do a second prime! Didn't get to dig into it much more as he decided not to put anymore money into the car. I still want to know how the signal powered the fuel pump!

I banned myself! Couldn't take him seriously!
1
Why does he want it running? Gonna cost him a pretty penny.
1
@WatchWesWork how about a scope monitoring the amp draw on the starter while cranking? Since it's mechanical injection, probably would be difficult to find something for a trigger.
1
New doesn't always mean better! New $3 cutting board would be the better answer!
1
Great mechanic = great videos!
1
Where did you see VW parts?! 🤔😂
1
Matt. AKA Diesel Creek now has two motor graders! Two excavators, one with a bad idler.... But a really nice new shop! Check him out If you don't follow him!!
1
Are you wondering why I have a 1958 Plymouth Suburban as my profile picture?
1
It's always nice to find a smoking gun!
1
New cutting board!
1
Yep, older guy here. Did a few drum brake jobs as a kid and young adult. It's when you get used to. The first disk brakes I encountered was on a 1971 Plymouth.

1997 Honda Accord 2.2 VTech . 275,000+ miles on it. Good power, 27+ mpg. Easy on oil. Make them like this again!!

How/where did you get your electrical experience?

Great save!! MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄!

I've always wondered why the switch for the jake brake isn't on the gear shift. Would be nice and close.
1
About the only time you're happy about almost empty tank on a customer's vehicle.

 @WatchWesWork probably 50:1

Found the high pressure fuel pump leaking on our '13 Equinox 2.4l. Put in an aftermarket. Hope it holds up.
1
Found 3 leaks in my AC system on my '00 Jeep Grand Cherokee! After all that, the coil on the clutch decided to short out! Picked up a used compressor, and 43°F was my reward! 1. O-ring on the compressor. 2. Hose to the compressor. 3. Finally, dash out evaporator replacement!
1
@WatchWesWork I think plan B has already been spent. I believe I'm on at least plan G!

I've said it also, but if one thinks about it: VIN Number = Vehicle Identification Number, Number Just saying..
