Since you've gone on your own, your videos, in my opinion, are more educational! Keep up the good work! RESPECT!

Suggestion: Put a small magnet tray on each lift arm to put lug nuts in.

Good on you for considering the customer's report, but not allowing it to sway your diagnosis!

In the rust belt, wires need to be tested for the ability to carry current. You can read voltage but when a lot a is applied, voltage drops to close to zero.

Brake clean brothers!

I use the LIKE BUTTON as a record that I've watched the video. Yes, it's sad when a recently purchased vehicle needs major repairs! Repairs that a prepurchase inspection probably wouldn't find.

While working on my '99 Toyota Camry replacing the converter lockup solenoid. I had to remove the valve body. I took a picture of the valve body, printed it out, tapped it to a piece of cardboard. Punched holes where the bolts go, and put each bolt in it's hole. Worked great!

Always a great video! Suggestion: Get 4 small magnetic trays to put on your lift arms to put lug nuts in. Save time. They won't fall off the arm.
20
Yes, you definitely made a routine battery replacement entertaining! Great job 👍!

Gotta realize the phone noise "doo de doo" was Ray's method of dealing with a phone that's allowed to ring multiple times. "Answer the phone!" Was heard many times!
18
Thanks for making me more efficient as I do my own DIY repairs! The entertainment is great too!
18
If that's a quick question, how many words would a slow question be?
16
Thread chaser. Done this a few times.
13
Thank you for showing the O-ring mistake! Makes me feel better about my mistakes also!

Unless our wives work with us on our projects, there isn't any way they'd understand! I too enjoy every video and have learned to work more methodically! I do 97.3% of our own work on our vehicles. My newest vehicle is a 2003 Subaru Forester just nearing 200,000 miles. Just replaced the head gaskets because I got tired of smelling oil burning on the exhaust!
11
Excellent idea! Too obvious once someone said something!
10
Wife unit makes sure the heater is hitting husband unit so he's warm! ❤

After watching SMA videos and recently found this channel, my brake clean use amount has increased drastically! I'm a strong DIYer.

Looks like by a Ford oil filter, this vehicle has been taken to the dealership for it's maintenance. I'm guessing they gave an extravagant estimate to repair the oil leak. Video is 2/3 done when I made this assumption. We'll see how it "pans" out!
10
Yeah, I saw that too! Corrected at the end!!
9
Ray Looks like a typo in the title. Jon = job? You have yourself a wonderful day!
9
When you first went to switch the plugs for diagnostic reasons, I was thinking about the plugs being switched. Then I realized that you were just checking the function of the sensors! Great work!

@jamram9924 LoL 😂😆 What ever works!
8
@forgetfulme1719 LoL 😂😆 you're probably correct!

Remember, this location isn't very old. He's still recouping the cost and effort required for startup. 🤔 Would now be time to move and do it again?
8
Interesting theory. 🤔 That piston definitely hit a non-compressable object!!
8
My thoughts too!
8
@user-otzlixr haven't watched him in years. Don't miss it.
8
THUMBS UP 👍 (it's an ALL PLAY!) to show Ray our appreciation of taking the time and effort to shoot these videos!! Being a fairly new YouTube creator, I understand!
8
That fluid looks really good! Perfect time to change it! Yellow plug in pan has been answered. When I saw the fluid around the plug that the speedometer used to go, before you pulled it out, I knew you found the leak.
7
Seeing these rust free vehicles in the salvage yard! I'm in MN. Those rims are a solid support.
7
Another Minnesotan here. Yep, our salty roads does take it's toll on our vehicles! Do you watch SMA? NEW YORK salt is 4 times as bad in my opinion!
7
I played Organ Trail on a teletype! Hunting was interesting! Dialed the number on a regular phone. Put the receiver 📞 in a modem box with two holes. One to transmit, one to receive!!
7
Would have been a piece of cake for SMA! Pound cake!
7
At work, we use glycol for cooling machines. Glycol comes clear. We put a squart of blue dye in it. Now you know!
6
WoW 😮! Can't imagine that happening!
6
Surprised the engine still runs! I'd suggest a cylinder Ballance test before doing anything. Might be the end of the road for this one! I sure hope the person who replaced the alternator did it before the radiator blew! There's a problem if it was done after!
6
Absolutely! Eric O. has earned a place in the diagnostic Hall of Fame!
6
The heat from the welding is what breaks the broken bolt. The nut is the part that allows you to turn it.
6
521,000+ subscribers! Congratulations! How many subscribers did you have when you did your job relocation? Hopefully YouTube is treating you well!!
6
The claw shots were EXCELLENT!
6
Thank you for testing the ground wire for a short to ground! I was hoping for this test before you condemned the ECU.
5
According to Erik O, that would have "The big 4.3!" LoL 😂😆
5
Would be interesting to know the percentage of gasoline to diesel.
5
Good to see wife unit jumping in learning and helping!
5
Congratulations! You turned something you didn't want to do into an informative, educational video!
5
Put the broken rotor up front for customers to view and something to show them when a tech is having a rough time and taking longer than expected! Just like a tire shop has the container of objects found in tires!
5
@davidhamm5626 I'm with you. Definitely needs to be a controlled study done. But, who's willing to put the $$$ and effort out there to prove or disprove this? I think there's too much folk laur out there about this. Now, power flushing, that might work the crud out of the corners.
5
Something is bugging me about your profile picture! 🤔 . . . . . . 😅😂
5
@whirledpeaz5758 copied and shared on my Facebook page! Well written! I'm going to check out your channel and subscribe.
