When a person exposes their self to the public, "expert" keyboard warriors come out of the woodwork! I'll go a seek out your videos. I'd say Ray is doing well! His channel is growing, and he's laughing all of the way to the bank!

I had a questionable fuel pump. I provided consent voltage to it. Hit the tank with a hammer. Could get it to run an not run with each hit. Yes, that confirmed the pump was bad!
1
I made the mistake of reading an oil change millage sticker of when the oil was changed as opposed to when it was changed. I thought the vehicle had used a quart of oil in 700 miles instead of 5700 miles! Huge difference! 2015 Chevy Equinox.

Have you considered buying brake clean in bulk and getting refillable spray containers? ๐ค Would there be any cost savings? ๐ค

1.3K comments! Way to have a great video!

2003 Subaru Forester 250,000+ miles. Purchased as a Mechanic's special. Thought head gasket leak was a broken lower radiator hose clamp. After 2 years of driving replaced HGs because of oil dripping on the exhaust. Thought that would have stopped oil loss. Nope, engine is coming out again for rings and bearings. Body is in reasonable good condition for being in MN!
1
Now you guys have got my eyes leaking!! Good things for good people!
1
โย @RainmanRaysRepairsย is the ripped driver's seat going to be replaced? ๐ค
1
Thank you for the parts to fix this van!!
1
I hope the viewing hours help offset some or not all of your expenses for this project!!! It would be nice to know how these videos do for you!!

POWERFUL!

I'm a strong DIYer. I would do this job if it was my car. Imo, way too much to forget... These videos are getting more better! ๐๐

๐ I think I got that this time. ๐

Something to consider when using bolt extractors. Since the bolt probably twisted off, something other than torque needs to be used to change the situation. Usually heat will break the bond between the threads. Don't expect more torque from an extractor.

Traction control light comes on with the MIL light with Toyota. Interesting. Why?
1
Are you afraid of heights or afraid of falling?
1
Which brake cleaner shouldn't be used with welded because of poisonous gas given off when heated?
1
Numbers are strangely fun!

Is there a surfboard in the bed of that truck? Been near salt a bit!!

Oh, before I go, have a GREAT DAY!

LoL ๐ ๐ Could the name come from U bolts?

Learning a lot about vehicles I've never had the opportunity to drive/work on.

1993 Tarsus. After 2.5 hours of driving in high heat with the AC on, slow down, and the engine would stumble, and die. First time it happen, had it towed to the dealership. Of course, it had time to cool, and then it started. Long story short, the fuel pump would die during that event. I know more now and would replace the pump. Live and learn..

Noticed noise under dash while didn't notice that the brakes are squealing?! I'm guessing the actuator(s) has been making noises for a while, and the brake noise is a new one? But then there's the shaking! Just think how that car is going to drive/stop without shaking!? Good catch! Might have saved someone's life!
1
Glad to see some "normal" content instead of you struggling with the storm! Back to normal life.
1
How do you get low beams? ๐ค . . . . . ๐ It's for both.

PC = Paper Cartridge FYI

ย @richardsmith2721ย got your point! LoL ๐ ๐

Saab own sounds like a people user! He got caught!
1
The way that rotor and bearing came off would make Eric O at SMA green with envy! No air hammer/torch required?
1
You added 3-5 horse power getting rid of the green!
1
What issues did they have to overcome to get the vehicle to production? How many times did they have to modify because another design group took the space they thought they had?
1
Only reason I thought that the wipper arm may be loose on its mount was I drove my Subaru far too long thinking the transmission failed. Yep , it was just loose.
1
Were brakes replaced without inspection of the whole truck?
1
โโย @RainmanRaysRepairsย wouldn't it be great if YouTube would turn on notifications by default when someone subscribes? People I talk to at car shows don't know much about turning on notifications! Got any influence with the big guys that make decisions for YouTube?! LoL ๐คฃ๐

ย @ZGDX_Smiling_ย interesting... ๐ค

Another video that I'll enjoy after work! Algorithm boost!

The rear brake with the aftermarket fluid retainer probably had the caliper lock up and wore the pads down to nothing! ๐ On my '00 Grand Cherokee, I had a caliper lock up. Waiting for parts, and needing to drive it, I created a plug. I crimped a short chunk of brake line and soldered it. I feel my "repair" was a step of an upgrade! ๐ Did get the caliper rebuilt and it's back in service!!

531,998 people say you're doing a great job ๐!! Some people need an inventation to be shown the door going out!

Customer commented that tapping on the fuse box made the lights come a bit. Yep, lose connection.
1
Takes a lot of extra time. Maybe a mistake is made and they correct it on their dime. Not everyone understands how some things are done, or would want it done differently. ๐ค
1
My brother-in-law works at an air compressor shop where they sell and service them. He's setting me up with a 5 hp Quincy! Then I'll be able to use all the air without waiting on a slow compressor
1
I was going to make a comment about where the "drain plug" is located saying I bet the same guy who put it there removed the dipstick function. I wouldn't be wrong!
1
Are leaking fuel injector O-rings a common thing? EDIT Before you said it. It looks like the damaged O-ring was an installer error.
1
How much additional would the AC job have been if you replaced the valve? You had the system down. Are they expensive?
1
I will be using your no oil indicator of dipstick extended out! When I worked in a tractor dealership, I had a chunk of cardboard with a note noting no oil that I'd attach to the steering wheel.
