  2. Changed an engine on an '06 Hyundai Elantra. Found an establishment out of FL that imports engines from the mother land. It's running well. Will tare down the old engine and see if a new crank, rod and rings will get it running again. Get a cheap car and drop it in. I have a couple of videos on my channel.

  8. Replaced an engine on an '05 Hyundai Sonata. Before I pulled the engine, I started it up. Ran fine! Ran fine without oil. Ran fine without an oil pan! Could hear that rod a knocking wanting out. Just ran it for a few seconds. In the next comment, I'll post a link to me inspecting the top end to see if anything is usable.

  10. I just had the intake manifold crankcase ventilation system plug up and inverted a bit of the lip of the rear main seal! Yep, cam chain got noisy and timing codes! I'm thinking the driver ignored the noise on the engine in the video! I had ours towed.
