The most fortified area in Ukraine was Avdiivka (also called Gateway) now that they broke that area it's easier to move on. Also Russia didn't go all in, they actually give a chance to civilians to leave the city before they go all in.

So you want to force people of east Ukraine to be part of a country that is killing them since 2014, they wont be allowed to speak Russian anymore, now allowed to have russian names, not allowed to teach russian history, sing russian songs. USA fight wars all over the world. Just recently they took Golem Heights from Syria and gave it to Israel. And they still steal Syrian oil on a daily basis.. Ethnic russians are largest minoriity group in Ukraine but ethnic russians are definitely not minority in east Ukraine. Do you really think DPR/LPR could have hold against UKR military for 8 years if they were a minority? Are you serious? Also ready AMNESTY INT. REPORT from 2015/16. Maybe you will understand why these people dont want to be Ukrainian. Once again, Russia welcomed over 2Mil Ukrainians in the past 12 months.

For now Russians are just pushing Ukr away from Donetsk and waiting for US elections. Why taking a risk if you know that UKR depends so much on USA which has its own problems.

Arabs have decided to make deals with Isr/West and will have full Sunni control over ME (but no sover_ignty) . they will also remove Shia leader from Yemen and those in Iraq.
