I can tell you one thing..those civilians in DPR/LPR want the war to end, they don't care if they will hold UKR or Russian passport. When all it's over they will have to accept their faith. It will never satisfy everyone's wish. Just like Croats, Serbs and Bosnians, they will live together again. So why wait for peace? DPR/LPR will never be Ukrainian again, let's not even talk about Crimea. Majority of DPR/LPR people don't want to be part of UKR, let's accept that and stop blood shedding. Europe have easily accepted Slowenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia as sovereign state, why not DPR/LPR? Why?

Not everyone living in Ukraine feels Ukrainian. It's a young country which missed the opportunity to accept other cultures.
