So there are at least 10 places in Michigan worse than Hell. đ

I can definitely deal with 25°C (which is 77°F) with low humidity in the middle of the afternoon. I hate it when itâs midnight, really humid, and 25°C.

Black page - I donât believe that to be true. Can you back your statement up?
1
Itâs pronounced as âpeerâ, right?
1
Eetoh [QUIT] - Scandinavia includes Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Iceland. Finland is a Nordic country but not a Scandinavian country, probably due to the language spoken by most of their people.

More bald eagles...
1
Christina Otto - I think New Mexicoâs was considered the best flag.
1
William Mulvaney - Well, I donât belong to a church, so I wouldnât fit in. Nor would I care. đ
1
William Mulvaney - Oklahoma sounds like such a fun place! đ

I Dumped In A French Horn - The op did not state any disclaimers. Therefore Alaska counts.
1
renee angele - Iâve been to Toronto in midsummer, and it is around 30°C / 86°F and humid enough to be sticky. May or September are better times to go unless you donât mind the humidity.

Global warming. đ

I donât think thatâs literally true. In fact, I think MA and NY have about the same number. The chain is definitely concentrated in the Northeast, thatâs for sure.
1
Sherry Wilemon - In 2017, New York had 2.8 homicides per 100,000 people, well below the national average. Kansas had 5.5 homicides per 100,000 people, slightly above the national average. This is from Wikipedia but based on FBI crime statistics. So, please check your facts before posting. đ
1
Daniel L. Fletcher - I donât think that it makes any difference. Some of the least religious states made the âHappy Listâ too, namely Washington and New Hampshire.

I disagree; that area looked pretty nice to me, although Iâm sure they get more than their share of gloomy days around late fall and winter.
1
Oscar Mendez - is this the story of a man named Jed? đ

You mispronounced âGreenwichâ. Itâs \gren-itch\.
1
Iâd like to see this as well.
1
Keith Busch - Hartford has a high Hispanic population but itâs not the 70% or so to make this list.

@TheGreatCornholio. - Itâs âpaidâ actors! LOL. I see you have an altered sense of reality and are probably beyond hope.

During tornado season. đȘ

New York City had a 23% increase in homicides this year (per Nick Johnsonâs comment at 8:22), and might top 300 homicides for 2020. In 1990, NYC had over 2,200 homicides and had been on a decline almost every year since then. So it sounds like NYC is still far safer (pandemics notwithstanding) than in1990, or for that matter, any period from the late 1960s to about 2010. In fact, NYCâs 23% increase from 2019 was from the year with the fewest homicides since NYC started recording, where the homicide rate (per 100,000) was less in New York City than in the United States.

I would visit any state. There are only about 10 or 15 I would want to live in though.

I have read that Hawaiiâs record high is exactly 100°F or 38°C. It was in Pahala, which Iis on the Big Island. The other state whose record high is exactly 100°F is Alaska.

ChromeLeatherGel - g.f.y. đ

Kewl! Iâll move to Boise and start a wrecking company! đ
1
Donna McQueen - A âbabyâ is someone who has already been born. Otherwise the correct term is âfetusâ. Personally, I think the decision whether or not to abort should be with the woman who is carrying the fetus, and that everyone else should MTFB.
1
Guy The GalaXII - I think there should be as many opinions as possible to avoid pregnancy, and that would reduce the number of abortions. But once a woman is pregnant, the decision to abort should be hers alone. I would hope she doesnât choose to abort the day before she would have given birth, but thatâs her call and for her own reasons.

The cold certainly does not keep criminals out of Alaska, so why would it keep them out of New England or anyplace else?

Itâs âet ceteraâ. Not âexceteraâ. You can also abbreviate it to âetc.â to not appear to be a complete ignoramus next time.
1
Nick Johnson - Eskimo?

@hdrjunkie - Connecticut doesnât even have any tolls that Iâm aware of. If any place is âToll Landâ, itâs NYC. Last I checked the GW is $16 going eastbound (less if you have a EZ Pass) and most of the bridges and tunnels that donât cross the Hudson were about $7. So please spare me the sob story about Lamont.
