  3. This is happening because we're not allowed to have a go at the landlords cos most of them are from overseas and apparently that's not politically correct despite the fact that they're charging ridiculous amounts of money for the hoveles they call accommodation

  5. We need an enquiry into why overseas born landlords can charge so much money for very basic accommodation and why they're allowed to get away with all the scams they do . Then we need to start building housing for normal people not these estates where a couple will be paying the bank back for the rest of their life not just 20 or 30 years

  11.  @gail2500  absolutely I think one of the worst ones was running out of water when I was on the Murray River but as all South Australians know that water is not drinkable and having to walk half an hour to get to a toilet, the politicians have no idea.

  14.  @gail2500  It sounds like a logical thing to do but when you're parked in your car and everyone staring at you it's a bit much . Did both sleeping in a tent and car when I couldn't find somewhere to set up the tent or when I was flooded out which happened a lot in Canberra . Still remember the main street of Canberra lined with homeless people and as they wake up in the morning what do they see the flag at Parliament house that was really sad

Television is gone outdoor entertainment is gone live music gone so everybody is on tik tok acting like a 10-year-old it is certainly not a good substitute for what we had

  40.  @Teagirl009  I thought even the tourist cabins were 100 bucks a night now . In South Australia im paying $ 120 for a three-bedroom it's government housing but we do have supplies outside of the eastern states

  45. ​ @briansullivan9653 where I live the police are not interested at all in helping stop crime, in fact they refuse to do anything at all to stop crime only attending after 5: 00pm if it's life-threatening ,but if there is a customer who's just bought a bit of ice where they can get an on the spot fine the police will be instantly they even sit down the road from the dealers place waiting for the customers to come out but not actually closing down the dealer this is why people don't trust them

  46.  @alyssaoconnor  absolutely agree that we should not be buying things from overseas especially buying silly plastic toys from China who are poisoning the environment. However this thing about the farmers being completely blameless is bulshit they've devastated the country by cutting all the trees down, massive areas of land are now dead where I live in South Australia and they're sending all our food overseas . Same with the fishing industry can't get fresh fish at Port Lincoln anymore it all goes to Asia . If the farmers did not send all the stuff overseas we would have more here and it would be cheaper but I won't make as much money so they won't do it . And of course we have the insane situation where people in Adelaide want pineapples in winter for instance, so they have to be bought on a truck 3000 km away if people ate seasonal food it would be a lot cheaper . But we all know the reason why everyone's broke at the moment and that's because Woolworths and Coles are just charging whatever they like and they're too powerful for the government to stop them .
