  13.  @nmarks  I don't know about that. Isn't the warrant, the search, and the special master part of this criminal trial? And the idea that a judge who was just given a great job by the defendant would not recuse herself to avoid the appearance of bias is beyond shameful. And to make my position as confusing as possible, I suspect that originally Cannon did not realize Trump really is the worst criminal in our nation's history. But she does now, and she (wrongly) wants to make sure Trump doesn't get away with it. Ergo she is holding onto the case. I don't like that either, because I want ALL people to get a fair trial. God, what a tangled mess the Republican party has created by facilitating this dark chapter in our nation's history.

I just don't think that's his intent, though I cannot rule out the court forcing that defense upon him.

  23. I promise to vote accordingly. However, we've got to do more than vote. We have to demand real accountability, and meaningful justice. Additionally, the last few years have exposed how inadequate our laws are against inciting violence and inciting insurrection. We MUST tighten those up. Sedition is not and never was intended to be protected under the 1A.
