  21. This man deserves the gratitude and appreciation he is receiving. And while we grieve the victims of this horrible cruelty, and their surviving friends and family- Let's think about another positive: There are probably millions more "Richards" in our communities. We don't know them, because they have not been in Richard's situation. But they are out there! You may even be one yourself. Cruelty is highly visible, but civility and justice are harder to see. I believe that civility, justice, and love are everywhere. Be a part of the good in our society, and don't let the bad hold you back.

  48.  @jkryanspark  Jeff, I want to be a kind and forgiving person (like I imagine you to be based upon your comment). However, I can't do that here. I should NOT do that here, not in this situation. The harm done prior to Jan 6 is so immense, this has to be a situation where no one who participated can be given a pass. Don't worry, if you are ever a defendant and I am a juror I will judge with compassion and empathy. So long as you never do this much harm over the course of 4 years. If you do, watch out.
