Most Kiwis as per the latest census live in Queensland and the number is closer to 550,000 Kiwis born in New Zealand, living in Australia, with up to 650,000 New Zealand citizens in Australia at any one time. the difference is them visiting or staying less than 6 months. This is equal to about 8-10%, depending on what figure for the NZ citizen population you use. Also, the figure for most jobs, using real job ads and converting for exchange rates, is closer to 35-40% more, excluding Super. Including Super and income tax differences, this is around 45-50%.

  27.  @emceeboogieboots1608  They do, it is called 'Kiwisaver', but it is far less mature and developed vs Australian Superannuation. Kiwi in Australia that works in superannuation here ;) - it is voluntary, taken from wages and bare minimum contribution is 3%

They have to apply at age 10, and this rule has got a lot of Kiwis in trouble as the kids can’t qualify for things like NDIS when they need it due to health complications. Also there is nothing wrong with having affinity to a country of your ancestors or parents in reality. That said, this is the ‘positive problem’ result of Australians having some of the least ‘brain drain’ in the world, being only 0.8% of Australian citizens live overseas. The 650,000 includes Australian and Kiwi dual citizens born in Australia. It is closer to 550,000 in regards to those born in New Zealand and moved over and their families.

Australia, Iceland, the Netherlands and Denmark have some if the best implemented pension investment schemes in the world. Many Australian workers truly don’t know how lucky they are.

Anything below this amount means essentially peiple aren't buying enough things, driving the economy and thus things like job growth. You do know what the relationship is between buying of government bonds and "monry printing" right?
