Their aim is not to exert power; they are simply passionate about the good of the country. There are narcissistic traits associated with power, and power eventually corrupts.

However, I don't believe for a second Sunak, Braverman or Badenoch have either that allegiance or understanding. All three of them voted brexit, ask yourselves why.

The Celts were all over Western Europe yet they were unable to establish themselves as organised nations maintaining their own languages because they had no written tradition and too many rival clans. The Romans had no problems conquering them and erasing their language and culture. Same with Germanic populations later on. This is why today you see so-called Celtic nations and regions only on the western littorals of Europe. There is today no nation state in Europe that uses a celtic language as working language or lingua franca, official celtic languages are only there for folklore.

Disgusting that as a British citizen you couldn't vote in the referendum because of the 15 year rule whereas foreign citizens of commonwealth countries could vote in the referendum (Pakistanis etc.). Tells you all you need to know about UK politicians and where their priorities lie. Brexit was like sheep voting for eid al adha.
