You have read (or possibly not read) different Reports from NASA and "text books" than I have. I never have seen reputable people say what you say they have said. Of course, CO2 levels were higher in the past, what years were those? How about the oceans absorbing CO2 and becoming acidic?

In the U.S. as of 2023, energy sources for electricity generation are as follows: 38% from petroleum, 36% from natural gas, 9% from coal, 9% from nuclear power, and 9% from renewable energy sources like wind, solar, and hydro. Overall, fossil fuels account for the majority of energy production. All power except Nuclear comes directly from the Sun (our Sun) and Nuclear power comes from some other sun (that exploded).
