As a general view. First you have to have enough trained techs that can actually do the work, my experience is they don't. It requires less knowledge to just replace parts and the other customers don't have to wait as long for repairs; then you have less returns for faulty work.

I agree with verifying assertions, but I made the decision to leave in 1963 while in high school in Sussex, NJ (born in New Brunswick) and have had a fine life since 1967 in the Phoenix, AZ area. Working for Az Public Service and the state Power Authority for 34 years. It was oblivious they were going downhill even then.

I totally agree with you, I think we should pass a law that you have to have a man walking in front of the car with a red flag.
2
@Billy420-69 I have only seen trucks with balls, never a car, so they must be your aunt.
2
@angelgjr1999 Its actually because of inflation caused by printing to much money; faster than the economy is expanding.

@GreenBlueWalkthrough Let's not ask Turkey.

The law of supply and demand says the housing market is not crashing any time soon. First the demand has to dry up, so tell everyone to stop buying.
2
@thisisakodibox2635 Yep.

@fruitgums If you pointed at General Scott, it would have been hard to miss. (Because of his great girth, for those that can't figure it out.)

Thanks for telling me about the fine print that I didn't read, because I already knew there was a problem with waranteeIng the battery for stationary use and don't care. I love my Cybertruck, warts and all. Also thanks to the naysayers that didn't buy one so I got mine earlier than I otherwise would have since I am 80 years old and won't live to see the truck retired since it will last for another 45 years at least. I love most of your rants and agree with much of what you say, but to each his own I say. My 1941 Chevy pickup lasted for over 22 years, with rebuilds, and my 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 pickup is still working well after 24 years. I also like my wife's model Y long range.

I just saw a car speed up for a yellow traffic light, but I think it was a human driver for some reason.

@@LennyBlaks-uc6ey Just because some people can't read or write does not mean everyone can't.
1
We will see, shortly.
1
Thieves have been around a long time. Its the Red Queen problem, as fast as you run, you can only just keep up.
1
Used cars will be there shortly.
1
What! a sensible person?
1
@Swankins How can you be worse than Apple? The co-founder said they were wrong.
1
@CoolKoon Well; That is what happened.
1
@CoolKoon But they are staying, so maybe we have a wrong idea somewhere ?
1
Ever hear of the Shmoo's, Al Cap's invention?
1
Simple, temporary, conditions change.
1
I am just joking; but It is said that Budda said don't make me a God but they did anyway.
1
But still, you can't argue with measurable results Teslas are 10 times safer than all other cars.
1
Beleive me the car is faster than you could ever hope to be.
1
@6581punk So Tesla stuck you in the rear? (This makes sense if you think about it for a while.)
1
@TheRealJaded Yeah, he made millions out of his work.
1
@billh.1940 I'll bet you a nickel Elon wins!
1
@soandsononame8750 So how many million did you contribute to Ukraine?
1
@TerrorScoutGaming China could compete selling gas powered cars, but why? the future is electric. If only you saw the pollution in the capital.
1
Its much more fun to mess up an electric car than an ICE car, bigger fire!
1
@mattg706 I have a 2000 Silverado 1500. It breaks, I fix it.
1
@TheLivingMartyr1 What?
1
They would make you wait two years because the line to buy is so long.
1
@rollerskdude Not to me.
1
I'm not saying anything about adblockers. I tell people everything they see is likely false anyway.
1
Quite correct, others do have the same problem, some even without any form of self driving.
1
How many exactly?
1
@djsatane The Hyper-loop was a pass-on to others, what's that got to do with Elon? Besides, this is a very old idea.
1
Actually was a road with tracks, they are in many places.
1
@mgancarzjr I guess that is not much help.
1
There is no competition, unless you want a fire in your garage.
1
@sasas845 It's the human brain that is better at interpretation , after a certain amount of resolution the camera or the eye doesn't matter. The eye acts as a pre-processor.
1
No, that's just a person trying to make money.
1
@bobbbobb4663 That's why everyone is switching to Tesla's from Mercedes. Read the stats.
1
It's for your own good!
1
Nobody has done that yet.
1
@louiscypher4186 that is impossible, since it isn't working yet.
1
Rumors? The car companies have been keeping car prices high since at least since 1963 and before under the anti-dumping law of 1930. Please note some Buicks are made in China and some Fords are made in Spain.
1
In 1974 I bought an American Motors Gremlin for $3,400. In 1963 you could get a Jaguar XKE for $5,000 MSRP.

As an active duty tech in S.E. Asia during the Vietnam War, we fixed our equipment right there, not at the depot level. The commanders were very proud of our ability to do so. We worked 12 hour days to do so. Even repairing Marine radios from A4's (They had the same radios.) This was American made equipment. My father worked for Reaction Motors (Bullpup missle), my twin brother was a bomb jockey (F4Cs) and I was an Aircraft Radio Repairman. It is safe to say the Taliban will never be able to do what we did. It's all just words.
