@milostomic8539 Doubt it. You do depend on EU hand outs quite a bit. What will you sacrifice if those are lost?

@Serbonian Bog And over 1.2 million of albanians were ethnically clensed from area in 1998-99 war. Funny. According to 1991 census out of 2million population, only 194.000 were serbs. Seems serbs had been minority of population for a long time. Even in 1890 the area was 70% muslim, nearly entirely of albanian descent. 2004 was a sad time indeed. We can thank journalists for riling up people which led to eventual violence. And Kosovo judicary system investigated and convicted those they found responsible for the whole affair. UN security council is irrelevant as it's pretty much made up out of enemies with their own agenda. Serbian ally russia would have never allowed intervention and is fine with ethnic cleansing of muslims. Russia has a long history of ethnic cleansing.

A few years ago we knew that some countries wanted it. There was just no major push for it to happen. And while UK was in EU, it was well known that it would veto such proposal. Simply becuase you were told a few years ago that it wouldn't happen, doesn't make it a conspiracy theory as that was then and this is now. things changed.

@jonijoestar6871 the problem with Afghanistan was that it was Americans playing whack a mole with Taliban. Ukrainians with help of West can actually push Russia out and force white peace. Taliban didn't have to worry about runin country and a proper military, Russia does. Btw, it took 20 years to get bored of Afghan. War in Ukraine is reenactment of WW2 and if Russia isn't beaten is prelude to ww3. We are watching history repeat it self.
3
@Hikoplouyr Russian plans always were disasters. And it litteraly how they started this war. The question is, can they hold of against Ukraine once the later gets the other 90% of equipment?
3
20% is still to much. It needs to be 0.
3
@cerebrofan I fear that Biden will be the one turning Xi into his prison bitch. Heck, we in the west were worried about Russias military capabilities until this invasion. Now we all laugh at how pathetic it is. China's military has absolutely no experience in waging war, not to mention how it's probably more corrupt than Russian one. USA by comparison waged war all over the world. Their logistics are unsurpassed. And given world's reaction to Ukraine invasion, China is unlikely to nuke its own economy. Taiwan is very dear to USA, especially due to the microchip creation that they will want to keep our of China's hands. In any open warfare, USA has shown superiority so far to both Russia and China.
3
Vote leave campaign on turkey was hilarious. UK was the one pushing for that ascension.
3
@yurichtube1162 The war began with Russian invasion of its neighbours, something it has been doing before NATO even existed. Russia is responsible for this war, not the West.
3
@yurichtube1162 Their security wasn't compromised. They just feared that Ukraine will fully leave it's sphere of influence and they will not be able to boss it around or conquer at a later date.
3
@ketelin4285 Well aware of crimes committed by Ukrainian forces as it was reported in UN, as did the same crimes done by separatists then and done by Russian military now.
3
Only England and Wales voted for Brexit. Two other opposed but as always, what English say, goes.
3
@kostam.1113 Europe is already independent, otherwise EU would have accepted TTIP or what ever that deal was from years ago, instead of refusing. The simple fact is, that we share enemy in Russia with USA, so that is why we have shared responses towards Russia.
3
That is why we have politicians. Kinda stupid to ask people to vote in referendum when they don't have or don't bother reading most of the information.
2
Every little bit helps.
2
@groslait7814 Being a jew doesn't make one a separate race or nation. not every jew is part of Israel. Ukrainian jews are a thing. It's anti semitic crap like what you typed that helped lead to genocide of jewish population in Europe 80 years ago.
2
You have a death wish?
2
@stephenking4170 He is an autocrat consolidating his power. Hitler was also voted in. And I bet you the oposite. Some people glad he is in power while there arwe those opressed that do not.
2
He already is. The response is the same as any other day. Missile barage on yet another city. Bees pollinate, rabbits fuck and Russians bomb a city. Same shit, different day.
2
@TheMcLaughlincrew True, Russia definetly doesn't seem to have used the upgraded forces we saw in Sirian war. Thought the question is why? That being said. Victory at any cost against what is inferior opponent isn't much of a victory. Putin likes his image as a strong man and if he pulls all his forces against Ukraine, going as far as use even nukes, it will be massive diplomatic loss for Russia as everyone will know that if Russia has to use full force to take Ukraine, or even nukes, than it's a military joke. Already everyone reevaluates Russian power right now. I do think that eventually Russians will pull what they did with Japan after 1905 war. Peace negotiations after which they will pretend to never lost. We will pretend to believe them. Everything goes back to normal more or less.
2
@vigilante8374 Why would Hitler being Austrian matter? He was leading Germany, not Austria. Stalin was Georgian. Doesn't make a difference historically because he was in control of Russia and USSR.
2
Why would they be punished? Everyone known that UK was working for USA interests while in EU. No one bothered for decades.
2
@CaptainQuo To be fair. Those companies while terrible, do it for efficency or costs. Though I believe they are banned in EU so that is great news for chicken here XD.
2
@bilic8094 They are Kosovans as they live in Kosovo and Kosovo is an independent Nation. Albania is a different nation. We don't call Serbs, yugoslavians anymore after all.
2
@Serbonian Bog You mean Yugoslavia? Are we talking about 1999 war where Yugoslavs commited Albanian ethnic cleansing, hence forcing a humanitarian intervention?
2
@Serbonian Bog Albanians joined Nazis the same way Serbs did. By Axis occupying both Albania and Yugoslavia. Serbia has been ethnically cleansing Kosovo of albanians since 1912. This might surprise you but after ww2 population of serbs in kosovo fell. It wasn't also just serbs who died in kosovo mid ww2, plenty of albanians as well. Not to mention Serbs oppresing albanian kosovans during USSR times. Seriously, Albanians did ethnic cleansing in 98-99? In Serbia? Don't lie. We know for a fact that Serbia has been doing ethnic cleansing, not Albania. I get my sources of the internet. And internet clearly paints the picture of various war crimes commited by Serbia. Does The Račak massacre ring any bells? Finnish team investigated and found out that Serbians been lying about it.
2
@Serbonian Bog @Serbonian Bog I can ask you the same question. Did you know that Albania was first occupied by Italy and later by Germany? Do you know that Yugoslavia like every nation conquered by Germans had collaborators? I'm guessing your education is the same terrible one that Russians get with a lot of lies. Really? Albania did ethnic cleansing in 1998-99 when it was Serbia that sent forces into the region and ethnically cleansed over 1.2 million kosovan albanians? I did Google 2004. This might surprise you being a Serb and all, but neither Albanian nor Kosovan government were responsible for riots. The whole thing was kicked of by media that riled up citizenry of albanisn descent. The judiciary even investigated and prosecuted people they found responsible for this. It's curious how you ignored example I offered of your side outright massacring civies. Very telling.
2
@Serbonian Bog Did they teach you anything in school? Like at all? Italy invaded Albania on 7th of april 1939. They created a collaborative government there same as Chetnik the Serbians collaborated with Axis. Wow, it's so easy to find this information online, that I have to wonder if your history teacher cries in their sleep knowing you've been in their class and learned nothing.
2
You confuse them with Latvia.
2
The NI issue didn't work out for UK and Ireland, nor will it work out here, especially with Russia as a neighbour. No, the only solution is complete Russian withdrawal out of Crimea and Donbass. It's up to Ukraine to decide what to do with its recourses. Strangle Russian economy until nothing is left of it if they refuse such generous proposal. Russia is an agressor here. Appeasing Russia will not work, just as it not worked with Hitler.
2
@tineristineris1860 Yugoslavia, NATO attack on Serbia, Kosovo independence war are some of the conflicts that happened in Europe. We have Russia attacking Ukraine. How is Europe less warmongering? Numerous EU nations also joined wars against other countries elsewhere. Iraq would be perfect example. I think you need to go read a history book on modern history before you spout nonesense you know nothing about.
2
Russia has this thing called nuke. It's impossible to force it to give up its own land.
2
Exactly. What they gonna do? Bomb residential areas filled with civilians? Use cluster bombs? Kill and rape civilians? Kidnap children? Blow a dam? Russia doing all these things already. Using Nuke would litterally cost Russia any support from China they still have and their navy.
2
Serbs seem stupid to me. If Crimea is Russian do to majority living there being of Russian descent then Kosovo would be Albanian since majority is of Albanian descent.
2
@tages_matuna No, it isn't. You are meant to spent that much in your own military and even then nothing happened for years to those who didn't.
2
@rogink Everyone have their own ambassadors whom they constantly pay anyway. This is countries conducting diplomacy with hundreds of their own staff. Countries don't pay the other countries admin fees for drafting a treaty.
2
@agggggg1916 pretty sure it's almost everywhere in Europe. I live in UK, to get citizenship I would need to have lived for 6 years, 5 to get residency and 1 for citizenship. I would also need to pay a grand to be allowed to take the citizenship test which from what I hear does include language and history test. Same in US. About the only nations who don't probably do it, would be third world countries.
2
@Iorganicu Hungary is what you mean.
2
Because it's not a country.
2
And? Scotland and Wales are part of UK today but were not always so.
2
@rutessian Sure they are accountable. To their voters. EU isn't a nation, it's a union of democratic nations. These nations have democracies. EU can't interfere with other nations democratic elections so long as they meet the minimum requirements.
2
@rutessian Not everything it does is transparent, though it should be. But EU isn't a nation. It's a trade union with minimum democratic requirements. And sadly, it's democratic institutions are more democratic then what exists here in UK.
2
@rutessian not really. UK is made up of three and a half countries. So we do get MPs from a different country on union. Even worse, we got FPTP system that is downright terrible. At least EU commission get chosen by EU council and elected by EU parliament. House of lords isn't elected by anyone and unless you part of majority in your constitution, your vote is worthless. Even US has a better version of the system.
2
@inso80 N. Ireland is really only a matter of time. Especially if their economy begins suffering cause of UK. Nothing England can do about it ether as GFA litterally allows it. USA as signatory and with it's massive irish voting demographic would also enforce it. Scotland? They've been trying for years. I don't live in that part of Britain but from what I hear, while they constanly vote in SNP, there isn't enough popularity for idea to get over 50% votes. They've tried it a few years ago after all. England has also indicated that it won't let it try again any time soon. So short of pulling Catalonia, I can't see it happening any time soon. But Scotland voted against brexit, and one of the threats for voting for independance last time was an exit out of EU as well. From what i heard awhile back, their fishermen had been unhappy cause they couldn't sell fish to EU that well. British don't like their native fish so most of it is usually sold to EU markets. Haven't heard much from Scotland lately but that is probably cause there been plenty of other problems for news to focus on. Wales doesn't seem to want to leave. But the suclkers thought that England would match EU subsidies after Brexit. lol.
2
France: Still better than your Brexit failure and your partying PM.
2
@jamesmccarthy4777 France: clowns doesn't even begin to describe them. Especially Truss.
2
Sadly, no one knows. Everybody would absolutely love to know where his bunker is located.
2
@alexcake1966 nu nu. As last resort? WW2 anyone? Russia built it's empire by invading others. The only thing Ukraine done to provoke Russian ire was wanting to be independent and closer to it's Eastern European friends, who managed to escape Russian clutches in time.
2
@jonisalmela2399 can't run out of water while in the ocean.
2
@-_marvin_- After what has happened? No. Before then? Yes. Plus depriving a rival of market share.
