This is rather fucked up.
1
Who would be in charge?
1
Easy. They obviously couldn't do that while part of USSR. And doing this after fall, would provoke Russia. Lithuania wouldn't be able to cope with full military brunt of Russia right after gaining independence and would only end up alienating the West supporters. Nor did it have need for that land at the time.
1
Right, because USA existed for thousands of years and sponsored all local conflicts, even before Europeans showed up.
1
Not gonna happen, ever.
1
Also, historically it belongs to Turkey or as they were known as ottomans. Historical ownership is something you don't want to bring up. Because historically, Ukraine as a nation can easily be split up by still existing historical owners.
1
Taiwan is part of China at least for now. But not part of PRC.
1
@Secretsofsociety 1. Forever wars existed long before mes existed, look at Korea war. 2. Current wars have a point.
1
That will not end the war. It will simply invite retaliation from the west and even China abandoning Russia.
1
Rewatch the video. Soviets hoped that US, UK and France would not retaliate against tactical nuking of other countries, hence why UK and France would not be targeted. It would have been a gamble. One they chose at the time to not make.
1
European Union is fine. They supposedly been breaking for 30 years now.
1
Oh? How so?
1
That is assuming peace treaty is made before armour arrives. Russia isn't doing that well in Ukraine.
1
@PaulGrayUK Germany doesn't hold sole authority in EU and can't make unilateral decisions like that. The best possible option for them would be for EU to become a nation of union ala UK. But that still wouldn't guarantee they would be in charge since democracy would mean that French guy could become a PM or a Polish one.
1
Maybe if Egyptians wasted less money on military, they would have money to convince Ethiopia to slow down.
1
USA would still crush them.
1
@hallamhal yes, they liberated French. Seems to have worked out fine.
1
@jackkessler9876 No, it's rather arogant to assume that aliens would be just like humans.
1
Hi Pot, I'm Kettle.
1
Better to be in debt to the west than suffer under Russian boot.
1
No, it isn't. Root of the problem is the same as it has been for the last hundred years. Russia.
1
@zeftonic This time though the root of the problem is Russia.
1
@spyczech it's not just Lithuanian military that is in Lithuania.
1
Another video I've seen claimed opposite in regards to Kuwait. Kuwait wasn't ottoman or even Iraqi but was independent who paid tribute to it's neighbors and played them against each other. They later asked Britain for protection hoping to remain independent for mosrlt part but Britain actually wanted to sell them out to Ottomans.
1
Sure, but China is split into ROC and PRC.
1
Sure they can. The reason China stopped invading Taiwan is because they were to terrified of US. And even today they still fear US. Plus taking it and hiding it are two different things. And just attempt to take it would be dissastrous.
1
@JohnnyWednesday Actually, they only received around 10% of promised equipment. And utterly smashed isn't true. They managed to repel in the west. While Russia is taking over east, the question is. Can they hold it? Germans in WW2 took a lot of Soviet land and smashed Soviet armies, yet still lost. Same for Napaleon in 5th coalition war. I wouldn't rely on China that much. China has shown that it will not stick it's neck out to much for Russia. And they do have their own conflict with Russia. Their alliance is one of usefulness but there is no love or trust. Wouldn't be the first time they turned on Russia and sided with US to oppose Russia.
1
No. Russia can't even guarantee security to it's own members of their version of nato in Asia.
1
I think the opposite. Destroy majority of the roads bar few, and tax those roads themselves with permission from Afghan government. Wouldn't even want to pull out then.
1
That usually happens when you use your people as canon fodder.
1
Soviets and Nazis also wanted to put their regional rivalry aside to focus on achieving things. We saw how that ended. History will repeat it self again.
1
Have they beaten Sudan yet or are they still fighting for independence?
1
@mtkoslowski oh, cool. Thanks for a clear up.
1
Taiwan is part of China but not part of PRC. ROC are true owners of China.
1
Ukraine that has actually managed to claim back some territories and is still fighting when everyone expected it to lose within a month? Gaza? Seriously?
1
What sort of fascist poppycock nonsense is this? All RusoUkraine war showed us is that no one can trust Russian signature or word, Russia has no allies and that US and EU (Europe isn't united you uneducated simpleron) will support allies.
1
@ssglbc1875 yes, it's in Europe but he didn't say Russia, he said Europe. Europe isn't a single nation. Learn some geography.
