@Arlo-j2z False. You haven't studied Vietnam at all. After Tet of 1968, the VC ceased to exist and the NVA were almost entirely eradicated. The Soviets, Chinese, and Vietnamese pushed hard for peace talks after that to buy time for Hanoi, while pushing the ideological and information warfare angles in US universities and media. Even with how stupid Johnson, McNamara, and Kissinger were fighting the war, we still were crushing North Vietnam. US Congress withdrew since the people didn't have the stomach for it anymore, after watching Cronkite TV.

@FreetOfficial Yup. This is what the industrial and military force metrics indicate. It's why even "great powers" use terrorist organizations to attack the US rather than facing us like men. Then lie repeatedly about how weak the US is because they have nothing else. We try to befriend them, even save them from total annihilation from their regional enemies and they turn around and spit in our faces. Look at how the US saved Russia from Germany in WWII. Look at how the US got China into the WTO, elevating them from rice farmers to the largest exporter in the world. What thanks and respect do we get? 1970s wave of terrorists trained by the KGB. 9/11 attacks. People's War declared on their #1 trade partner. These are the moves of shameless, incompetent despots who take the benevolence of the US for granted.

These are not smart people, but very primitive minds who are so backwards, they murdered they're future for 35 years under One Child policy.

@christineyoung8345 Nobody does maintenance as well as the US at scale. Nobody designs fighters, missiles, engines, and critical systems with a heavy emphasis on maintainability like the US. There are generations of lessons-learned in this space that China can barely even perceive. China combat operations have been contaminated by the Russian system, and now China is trying to emulate the US system. Culturally, China is doomed to fail due to how promotions, reporting, and training work. In the US system doing AAR's, nobody cares what your rank is. Critiques are explored for hours into ALL the mistakes that were made. Not even the French can adapt to the US system.

@vasilijevukadinovic6843 The Russians are generations behind the US in missile tech. Russia specializes in making a few samples using stolen US tech that we don't even discuss, then declaring how superior they are. Meanwhile we're working towards our 1000th live fire test on real targets at any one of a dozen different instrumented missile test ranges. We pretend it's novel and ring the alarm bells in DC to scare the politicians into financing the next generation, and more tests, production, and upgrades of fielded systems. I've watched that my whole life with a front row seat at several of those test facilities.
