Putin was temporarily satisfied with finally getting his puppet, Yanukovych into the Presidency, who then began Russifying Ukrainian government with Donbas region ethnic Russians and then signing onto the Russia-Eurasia Economic Pact. That triggered the Euromaiden protests and the ousting of Yanukovych. 79% of Ukrainians wanted to normalize regular trade with the Eurozone and grow their economy like Poland has been able to do (600% growth in Poland since the end of USSR). But you start to see why Putin and Russians are very uneasy about Ukraine being independent and economically-energized while Russia becomes more isolated.

Russia would purposely distribute warheads under our satellite surveillance windows, instead of trying to hide them, but then take the warheads back to the point of origin and then repeat the process to another unit to make it look like they had more than they really did. It was a shell game to bolster their image as a huge nuclear power, when they didn't really have anywhere near as many warheads. Ask the question why Putin funneled $363 million into Clinton Global Initiative when Hillary was SECSTATE for the Uranium One deal, after he announced that Russia was revitalizing its nuclear forces.

Even though Sweden wasn't part of NATO, they still benefitted from NATO members around them (UK, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland) and used critical systems in their defense sold to them by NATO nations. Example: SAAB fighters have always been powered by Rolls Royce, Pratt & Whitney, or GE motors, using licensed avionics/Radars from Hughes or Leonardo, US/NATO missiles, servos, landing gear, brakes, fuel systems, Mauser cannon, etc. Sweden is a hybrid form of government like any other Nordic state, not pure socialist. The socialist policies mostly weaken Sweden though, which is offset and insulated by being part of the above-mentioned security and trade networks that allowed them to focus on economy and social issues while ignoring defense mostly.

  11. Peter isn't a geopolitician, he's an analyst. He failed to recognize the 500 pound gorilla in the room in this topic. The gazans and HAMAS had built a tunnel network. Israeli intelligence learned that this tunnel network was going to be used to deploy a dirty bomb or a nuke from Iran into Israel to destroy millions of people. October 7th was allowed to happen as a pretext for the invasion into gaza and subsequent moving or displacement of Palestinians. If Peter had listened to the Eric Prince interview, and one with a gentleman who developed the magnetic resonance sensors for tunnel detection, he would have been able to put these facts together. Trump is at least 10 steps ahead of anyone on this problem set. Notice how Trump has framed the conversation about Gaza. There is no mention of the Palestinians. That sets the tone for the whole thing, where the decision has already been made about them. Peter's Trump derangement sundrome is blinding him at every turn.

The production facility would truck warheads out to the operational units, whether they be subs near Murmansk, bombers at various air bases, and arming hubs for mobile ICBMs, only they would return with the same warheads and not plus-up the units with functional nukes. For starters, there is no trust in Russian culture or history internally, let alone with their neighbors and Warsaw Pact members. They kept enough ICBMs loaded-up with very short leashes in the command-and-control hierarchy though. The truth is they simply never had the institutional culture necessary to produce and maintain anywhere close to the number of nukes they claimed, and it was all designed to appear as if they had tens of thousands of them. This is one of the main missions of their co-opting of the CIA out of the gate, to misinform the US and NATO about how powerful they were, when in reality, they were always retarded peasants who found themselves awake in a century with technologies that simply were beyond their capacity to understand outside of theft. Nunn-Lugar gave the US an inside-look at how broken and neglected their strategic and tactical nukes forces were. This was the main question Putin had upon assuming the presidency when Yeltsin resigned.

Since the US and Canadian energy firms are the only ones with the expertise to drill through permafrost, Russia can't afford to let the drill sources shut down now, as the US/Canuck firms and their technicians have already pulled out.

The systems sent to Ukraine are old stock that was scheduled for destruction because it eventually would exceed its shelf life. Russia's "SMO" has provided a 2.5 year display of how they mobilize, equip, stage, and invade their neighbors, and it isn't impressive. Biden WH has really been slow-rolling and delaying delivery of the outdated munitions at an intermittent trickle. The political excuse of partisanship is just that, since you can transfer everything needed through FMS to NATO nations. That's what has really been going on anyway mostly.

  40. Finland and Poland did the opposite of most NATO nations in the 1990s, when everyone thought it was the end of history. While others including the US, UK, and Germany were drawing down, Finland and Poland started acquiring large weapons packages and modernizing. Finland bought 64 F-18C/D fighters from the US. Poland bought F-16C/D Block 52 fighters. Finland was unique with the F-18 and not F/A-18 because they still held themselves to the neutered conditions of their air force set by the Soviets post-WWII, where none of their air force was allowed to have bombing capability. Since then, they upgraded their Hornets to full F/A-18C/D ATG capes with JDAM, JASSM cruise missiles, and other precision weapons.

Marilyn Monroe worked at the Radioplane Munitions Company before she was discovered by Ronald Reagan's propaganda film unit. We used jet-powered drones in Vietnam and tons of them in Desert Storm launched from all types of platforms, from F/A-18Cs to ships and trucks.

  42.  @jamesodell3064  The US has more access to diagnostics, but also a wider range of socioeconomic swaths and demographics who don't trust or participate in medicine until emergencies. 13% of the US is black/Afro-descent, who have unique diseases and health metrics you don't see in Canada or Europe as much, with a unique set of dietary and environmental challenges based on warped family dynamics, lack of fathers, and high homicide rates. When you look at aging, the demographics with high life expectancy from different parts of the world have even higher life expectancy in the US, namely Japanese and other Asian-descent Americans. It's much more interesting when you study this subject after breaking free from the old political theory constructs, which don't align with the bigger data. Instead, more questions arise that deserve more study.

US healthcare options are superior, but Japanese diet with lots of fiber and real food is better, as long as they avoid making a habit out of eating US fast food. Once McDonaru came in, you started seeing teen obesity. I avoid US fast food and packaged crap like the plague. We mostly have home-cooked meals in my family.

When introduced in 1977, they were 14% efficient. 46 years later, they're only 26.4% efficient and have been stuck there since 2017, totally flat. Thin film Gallium Arsenide has shown to be the most promising, but it's extremely expensive and China just cut off Gallium exports because Gallium is critical in high quality semiconductor technology. Most of what I see being discussed in the solar and wind power conversations is based on false claims made by people with no scientific background.

The whole reason for this thing is because hamas has tunneled under gaza into Israel and they caught wind of a plot for a dirty bomb or a nuke from Iran that would be delivered through the tunnel complex. This is why Israel allowed the October 7th attack to happen. They saw the tunnels, and rightly so, as an existential threat to millions of Israelis.

The US desperately needs real cane sugar back in our diet instead of all these terrible poisons we have in our food, and Cuba needs US energy and investments.
