The Federalist Society that referred this judge to trump for appt should completely . . . I'm not sure what word applies here, but this organisation is an antidemocratic entity who should lose all authority to make judicial referrals.

This seems like such a stupid thing to do by attempting to deceive everyone that 19 K was spent on a lectern when in fact the money went to Sanders and her girlfriends taking a luxury trip to France and a lectern was picked up on the cheap. This seems emblematic of the fact that not only is Sarah Sanders a devious person, but also not too bright as this plan was not to thought out. What else has she done that needs more scrutiny?? So it looks like another trump acolyte is caught up in her own corrupt behavior. What a surprise!? 🙄

He was very critical of trump immediately after the Jan 6 insurrection, but quickly turned around to either favor trump or say nothing. His legacy is tarnished forever unless he somehow comes around to face reality which seems unlikely.

What this ruling and other recent rulings by the SCOTUS appear to be saying is that they don't want to take any responsibility for these harder questions; If trump is guilty of committing an insurrection against the government then why is he not blocked from running for president again? The SCOTUS doesn't want to touch that. Does trump have immunity from prosecution? The SCOTUS has delayed ruling on that further delaying other trials against trump as if they favor him for some unknown reason. Maybe it's not as much that the SCOTUS favors trump, but they abdicate their responsibility because they are too afraid to take on hard questions anymore. By avoiding their responsibility they essentially drop in the lap of the american people to deal with in the next election. If that is true then what good are they anymore? It's as if the Supreme Court is useless to resolve legal issues of consequence. After all they repeatedly made extreme rulings on abortion, guns and the various issues around trump that came to them they have rejected or delayed or offered specious arguments for!! Label me disgusted!!

  49. An awful lot of people seek to beat the dead horse that trump isn't being treated like everyone else like he should be. But trump isn't like everyone else and anyone else of a similar status who happened to arraigned for a serious crime would also get this same kind of treatment. Besides that a former president has never been indicted before. People are whining because they wanted to see trump handcuffed do the perp walk, blah, blah, blah. Trump was arrested, finger printed and arraigned. This is a big step toward holding him accountable. So quit whining about why doesn't appear just like you hoped it would.
