  1. If the red team, using your metaphor, think this is a win for them than they are delusional. Giving this much power to a president will ultimately corrupt trump IF he were elected. Biden has shown a degree of restraint and is less likely to abuse such power. But it is inevitable unless some future legislation replaces this ruling that some future president will abuse absolute immunity. After all "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely"!! In the first place it was the republicans who CHOSE not to remove trump even after McConnell was critical of trump for invoking the January 6 riot. He had been impeached and all Democrats in the Senate voted to remove trump, but Republicans failed. Then the Supreme Court failed to prevent Trump from running by not upholding the 14th Amendment which directly calls for a government official to be removed for being a traitor to the country. The Supreme Court of Colorado ruled that trump should be blocked from running, but the SCOTUS failed to do their job and uphold the ruling. Then trump got elected despite all the evidence that he was unfit to serve in because people didn't think trump would do what he said he would. trump is doing exactly what he said he would do.

The truth is that trump is shown here to be in direct violation of the Constitution with plan to remove natural born citizens from this country even though that violates the 14th Amendment. Tell everyone what bills did republicans pass in the last 2 years besides the CR's to keep the government open. That used to be standard practice was it republicans that have made it political. Democrats actually passed legislation when they were in office. Can you give even one example where the republicans violated the Constitution??

  19. Ah, yes what a surprise from the SCOTUS which ruled the Dobbs vs Jackson case from Mississippi was in fact a ruling for the entire country because of the extreme policy of one state. 🙄🙄🙄. The hypocrisy of the SCOTUS is on full display here and clearly Chief Justice Roberts coerced all 9 justices to rule as one. Then SCOTUS says they don't want to agree to a ruling for the whole country based on the ruling from one state that being Colorado. But the Dobbs decision WAS based on a ruling from one state!! There are other examples as well. How is that not hypocrisy?? The SCOTUS changes theur own rules whenever it fits what they want.

But it's all speculation at this point because we don't have all of the info. It does look like the helicopter was on the wrong path and at too high an altitude.

  31. Santos was removed primarily because of democrats who voted by a vast majority of their Caucasian to remove him. 206 dems voted to remove Santos. Whereas barely a 100 repubs voted to remove him and about 110 repubs voted against his removal. Several voted present and a few didn't vote. McCarthy said he wouldn't vote to remove Santos because he was concerned about setting a precedent. Course all of the charges leveled against their boy didn't factor into his choice!? 🙄 I for one am glad that this pathetic drama has finally ended.

There is of course the media that gave trump an inordinate amount of attention because that was driving their viewership. And yes, Merritt Garland was AWOL in beginning the prosecution of trump immediately after he was nominated to be AG. But what played a bigger role than that were trump's enablers. trump was impeached twice and both times the Senate refused to convict because of the sycophants in the Republican party especially Mitch McConnell. Mitch was always ready to go after Democrats, but was quite spineless in holding trump accountable.

In fact trump just rolled over and said this is a great bill which is also what Mike Johnson even though it is in direct contrast to what they wanted a day earlier.
