it does not work for marriage. People can't marry a business...

Fully agree. Also, real estate developers. Less cohabitation means the need for twice as much housing. Cha-ching!!

@albihysenaj5997 you edited that comment, yet still didn't include any punctuation, even after a second attempt? Wow...

@albihysenaj5997 yet a third chance to make it seem like you passed elementary school. But, nope. That's about as lazy as it gets, bruh.

@Seen_not_heard I see. Source please?

Are you a guy or girl? If guy: don't !! If girl: Go for it! Free money! Win-win!!

Ever thought of why real estate and rents are so high? Not enough housing to fill demand. Why? Less cohabitation means the need for twice as much housing. People 'living their best lives' are paying dearly for it every month...

@lunieahexx6043 Wow. I never said anything of the sort. The projection is strong with this one. I was simply point out that more 'independence' means more rent for the real estate owners and more taxes for the government - it sounds like a beautiful utopia, no?

I know right? Most modern women don't want a marriage, they want a wedding. No Princess wedding? Less interest.
1
ironically, increased cost of living is because of less cohabitation. Rent skyrockets because we now need twice as much housing.
1
@johneli495 they have increased because there is more demand than supply. Single people are purchasing single family houses, and there is only so many of them. See the connection yet? 😬

@kimscott8176 That's right. Screw civilization. Watch it all burn! Take that mom or dad!!
1
You really believe that? You are so clueless. That's demonstrably false.
1
@seeingstars199 You don't have to be on the same page as someone at all times. You just need to be agreeable and respectful. You must be a lousy friend.
1
That's why after WWII, the US government gave HUGE incentives for marriage and children. And it worked. Now, since up to 30% of monthly alimony payments can go to the State, the incentive is in the divorce - thus fewer marriages. Simples.

for now.

Dude. You may want to read Hammurabi's Code. It'll clear some misconceptions up for ya.
