Robert schoch is just as frustrated as the rest of us with the total and deliberate lack of interest in investigating the great pyramid by Egyptian âauthoritiesâ. For those who donât know, there are numerous suspicious blocks in both the kings and queens chambers which really should be simply drilled and an endoscopic camera put through to see whatâs behind them. Non load bearing blocks, which could be moved in and out etc in ancient times when the pyramid was built. The theory is that when the great pyramid was first broken into, the accounts tell us that it was basically empty. No body, no treasures etc, no writings on any walls telling of how great the pharaoh was, nothing.
Now, there would seem to be a massive mystery here- unless you think of it as a trick. If you can make the FIRST people who break into it, think that there is nothing there, then EVERYONE who comes after believes that any treasures have already been removed. This is basically the point that we are still at today. But an awful lot of very intelligent people have studied the pyramid in modern times, and some actually were allowed to drill through blocks in the passage leading to the queens chamber and discover a series of voids behind the blocks. Others have looked at the patterns of the granite blocks of both chambers and noticed that a few in strategic areas could actually be removed to reveal a passageway and possible other undiscovered rooms behind them. For example, there is a non load bearing granite block adjacent to the coffer in the kings chamber which is exactly the right size to allow the stone coffer to pass through it. This should be of major importance to ANYONE who has anything at all to do with the pyramid, as it greatly suggests that there MUST be an as yet undiscovered passageway leading off from the kings chamber. There are other blocks in both chambers which serve no âweight bearingâ purpose, suggesting they are hiding something behind. The theory is that the chambers were empty because they were never intended to hold anything in them in the first place. They were a ploy to trick tomb robbers into thinking the pyramid was empty. This is huge. The implication is that the body of Khufu himself, along with all his treasures may be still there just waiting to be discovered, and all it would take is a long drill and an endoscopic camera to find out if these passages exist. The trouble is, the people who could give permission for this exploration are absolutely not interested in the slightest. They believe they know everything there is to know and they turn their faces away from any evidence from dedicated intelligent sources that would suggest there are new passages to be found in the great pyramid. Itâs an absolute disgrace really, because as archaeologists themselves itâs their JOB to investigate or at the very least listen to what people are saying to them. But still they refuse. As long as this stubborn attitude prevails, nothing more will ever be discovered there.
