You probably visited some them and thought you were in Russia. ๐Ÿ˜‚ The role of America and UK in WWII was always diminished in USSR and then in Russia. There were two Russian Waffen-SS battalions, there were Baltic battalions etc. A whole Russian army of General Vlasov was formed out of deserters by Germans. It then turned on Germans and freed Prague in 1945. It is not as simple as it is painted by propagandists.
