What is there to solve in change? The climate has always been changing. You don't solve a dance, you just keep dancing with it. Go ahead and name me a time that the climate wasn't changing. I am no climate change denier, I see the problem just like you do. But I can't follow people who don't shoot straight. So many promises have been made and broken by people just like you countless times in the past. I'll believe it when I see it.

The ghost of bloody Mary probably smiles at the plight of modern teen girls.
1
Isn't that the point though? Divide and conquer.

Act on those child trafficking rings that pipeline them to China.

"but really its the big businesses with no regulation." - And they do this by moving production from regulated countries to non-regulated countries. China is by far the world's biggest greenhouse gas emitter. Every time developed nations increase regulation and restriction, it pushes companies to move their production to unregulated countries. In this fashion, and in an ironic sort of way, increasing regulations in developed nations actually creates more greenhouse gasses.
1
@richardhelger858 You would almost think it might be partially curbed with the increase costs of moving production into regulated developed nations instead of unregulated undeveloped nations with dirt cheap labor. Big corporations intentionally move production into unregulated poor countries so that they can use cheap labor and cheap dirty energy. The same globalists that are calling for carbon taxes in developed nations are investors in corporations who do the majority of the polluting. And then to top it off, because of this we have increased use of international shipping, using those big ships that use massive amounts of the cheapest and dirtiest fuel possible. Go look into how much greenhouse gasses those big boats put out.

@SWRaptor1 exceptional isn't average. Statistics give you average. Be an outlier.
1
@SWRaptor1 I don't have solutions for everyone.
1
@SWRaptor1 yes just the outliers. Average people suck.
1
@SWRaptor1 I said that wrong. What I meant is that people suck on average. People who don't suck are outliers.
1
@SWRaptor1 agreed, but there is no solution that helps everyone become middle class unless the population is drastically reduced. Even then, if everyone is middle class, who serves them? Education alone is valuable to those who are self motivated to work for themselves. Everyone has access to that, but only the gifted will succeed with it. Would you hold those gifted back in the name of equality?

Their are rich people who invest in sending people to destabilize a country which in turn gets people to try and leave the country. This creates immigration, often providing cheap labor to the country that the rich people live in and do business in. These immigrants are the primary cause of population growth over the last 30 years or so. They have larger families and more children per family and this skews the averages. Most western countries have been in population decline for the last 30 years. When immigrants move to a country with a small greenhouse footprint to one with a large greenhouse footprint, and bring children there, it causes increase of greenhouse gas emission in an environment that would have naturally had greenhouse gas reduction. This is the primary driver of manmade climate change in developed nations. The people who push for more immigration and the people who have allowed or created demand for it in the past are to blame for man made climate change. The immigrants themselves were victims of a these powerful people.

Lars T. - The internet is a world wide web of communication. The teens who are committing suicide are doing so because they frequent social sites and information that is biased against them. They could instead choose to favor social sites and information that is biased in favor of them. Its a world wide web, choose a topic and a position, on the internet you will find people in favor of that position and in opposition to that position. What you choose to look at is your own choice. There will ALWAYS be people who don't like the way you think, no matter what it is that you think.
1
I noticed he mentioned that people who watch the news are more ignorant. Fake news is a scourge and it has only gotten worse. To say that the mainstream news is biased is an understatement, to say that they frequently blatantly lie is much more accurate.

This is one of those moments in life if I am not sure if I am paranoid or not....

For those who would discount her message because of her family lineage, consider this. They didn't stay in power for so long because they are stupid. If you don't learn from your enemies, you are doomed to never be able to defend yourself.

And put pressure to end monopolies of seaweed enterprises that drastically reduce methane emissions by cows. They are holding out competition and not distributing it to the open market. They are literally preventing climate change solutions and holding out for higher profits.
1
@suicune2001 Why not both? This either or attitude isn't going to inspire cooperation. But to answer your question, the beef lovers will attack your approach and the problem will persist MUCH longer.
1
@suicune2001 Yeah, I was forced to make that decision and decided that I don't support combatting climate change. How many others are like me because as a response to the words and actions of people like you?
1
@suicune2001 Then do it quietly. Regulate using it in advertising but also use the things that do reduce emissions. Know what will happen to beef prices if seaweed were not a monopoly, and was widely available and was required as part of a methane reduction plan? Beef prices would go up, fewer people would pay so much for it, and methane reductions would occur both on the side of people who stopped buying it and people who chose to pay more because they valued it. But attacking the beef industry and saying to go vegan? If you wanted that to work, you had to start 4 generations ago. If you want cooperation at all from people who aren't going to give up steak anytime soon, you will have to start with cooperating with them. Cooperation is not one sided, and there are a very large number of people who will disobey orders from on high simply over the principle that they don't agree that those people can give those orders. You turn addressing a problem into a new political problem with the original problem still there by using your methods. You don't have to believe me, go ahead and look at recent history. Your strategy will lead to greater climate change because you were not flexible in your path to address it.

In wartime environments, winning at any cost may mean the difference between life and death. Sometimes the zero sum game is a game where only one side gets to live. The survivors come out broken, but breathing.

Because she hates white women and wants to specifically exclude them. She is a racist.

They owe us the ability to speak. I disagree with granting them power to police speech. If they police their content, they should be held liable as a publisher. Publishers police the content they release, platforms do NOT.
1
People should be taking care of thier kids not the state. One person working full time should support a family of 4.
1
Do you believe that the climate would stop changing if humans did not exist?
1
How's that pattern working out in Nigeria? It was true in a lot of countries, but you ignore a whole lot of things in those other countries. Correlation does not equal causation.
1
@Yourstrulythebosh Thank you, I will listen to some of that music as well
1
Lol, take California. It's reduction of controlled burns and emphasis on green energy has radically increased greenhouse gas emissions with major fires.
1
That would be very difficult to implement given the corrupt government systems of the world. Any rebate to the consumers would likely be stolen by some government institution then spent on a private company as per the usual cronyism.
1
How nice of a log cabin?
1
Women make up 85% of the consumer market. Let's cut the crap, this isn't man made climate change, it is women made climate change.

ISIS = Israel Secret Intelligence Service.

Martyr4JesusTheChrist I would say search for the truth and you will find it, but you won't now. A lot of it has been censored and deleted. Maybe if you go to waybackmachine or something like that you can find the truth. It has already been deliberately obfuscated.

5g will be used to monitor the world. Do you honestly think governments won't break the laws they impose on others?
1
@ryanschultz6696 Saying and doing are different things. The ruling class is known for saying to do one thing while they do another.
1
Social contract is real, environment is real. People can salt fields and ruin air. No man's land can be made. Cooperation or death will be had.
1
Do you think the speaker would support false accusations of rape as "gendered violence" against men? I doubt it.

@firstlast-sm6hx There are 2 types of NLP. One is absolute bullshit, and yeah debunked. The other is more a study of how memory and association work and is used primarily in market advertising (commercials not sales people). But it has been fading into obscurity a decade and a half ago, no idea where it is now. It doesn't matter much anymore. Big data is much better at manipulating people than NLP advertising techniques were. Its not so much like it was magic. More just association games. Using certain tones to make catchy jingles, associating food with family, etc. Nothing to be debunked really.
1
@jonfromtheuk467 no, I am busy reading other books of my choice. Also as I stated before, there are two different subjects of study called NLP. One is garbage and the other is the study of advertising.

I was a paperboy when I was young. Nothing wrong with a little child labor.
1
Sexual life should be packaged for public entertainment consumption. Deep fake should be so ubiquitous that everyone is aware of its existence and is not so easily fooled by it.
1
Its irrelevant in countries with shrinking populations like all western countries.
1
So many intersectional feminists out there pushing hateful stuff. I wish TED would just send more women like this who have good ideas. She is someone I could get behind.
1
Oh, another high rating on a female speaker, she must not be spewing lies in order to prop up divisive propaganda.
1
This is his younger cousin Chuck Dundee.
1
I hope you oppose shipping vegetarians from third world countries into first world countries to become meat consumers. The vast majority of developed nations have negative population growth, which means that any per capita problem is aggravated and made worse by immigration into countries that have those per capita problems.
1
More flow of money means more consumption, which means more production, which means more greenhouse gasses. That would do the opposite of what you hope to achieve with it. Better to simply have people sit down and not consume so much.
1
With the bullshit being forced into my culture, I don't want to save the planet.
1
How is irrelevant if why is never asked. The world isn't worth saving.
1
The list has "educating girls". I assume you mean that girls are stupid and are the primary contributors of greenhouse gas emissions. After all, they already outnumber boys in education, at least in western countries. Why is it that boys in the largest greenhouse emitting cultures, even when uneducated, produce less greenhouse emissions then girls do?
