Thank you, I was unaware of his history (I just YouTubed that speech; I only knew him for his stance of CRT and the books made available at our public schools) but I'll say this: Like it or not, our country and its documents were founded by the bible and its followers. These founding documents highlight powers granted to the state with the intention being that citizens may travel and reside in whichever community based on the resonation of its message/beliefs.

My point is that this material becomes vile when it crosses the line of innocence. People aren't calculating their speed based on some formula off what the sign says, they're driving the way they do because 1) those long/sweeping roads were designed for motorist convenience and 2) police are never around to enforce safer driving behavior. This is further compounded by the fact that everyone has to drive 15-30 minutes to get anywhere in the Triangle.
