President Zelensky sees our military-industrial complex foaming at the mouth at how much money can be made in this conflict, for god sake we literally have news articles that are sponsored by Lockheed. Imagine the tables turned, and Ukraine had the nerve to step onto the world stage and said "no no, let ME tell you about the situation at the Mexican border.." Given this administration's failure with borders (ie Afghanistan and Mexico), let's focus our effort on domestic issues and let the EU take care of their neighbors.

Look to the Mothers of East LA from the 90s and how they curbed gang activity by patrolling the streets with food/drinks to befriend and humanize gang members and offer them love and a sense of direction. Coping takes many forms and I hope these mourning mothers CBS interviewed take their meetings to the streets.
