  1. 'Excellent communication skills' means the ability to decipher corporate-speak and straight out hypocrisy. It is a form of deception, it is its own language within a language. It doesn't mean having a clearly communicated purpose or process, being true and honest, having integrity or empathy. You need to emphasize this point more. Good communication skills in a corporate setting does not mean the same thing as it does in a normal human situation.

  4. Everyone is using frameworks now anyway - including with PHP, Ruby etc. It's just that Javascript has more frameworks than those other languages. But basically everyone is just hiding behind a big bloated framework these days and not actually writing any real code.
