  2.  @crazypath573  do you know the definition of a drug even? “A drug is any chemical substance that causes a change in an organism's physiology or psychology when consumed.” Not on any drugs at the moment, although by mere definition even food is a drug by definition. Lots of things in food that effect your brain in numerous ways.

  3. Isn’t it weird that to see god you have to take drugs? Almost seems made up by drug abusers. Nobody should have to have the same religious views as another to get high. It isn’t all about wasting your life making rules to follow you believe invisible people told you are rules to live by.

  14.  @300zxss  Nope, just smarter than you. A drug is "a medicine or other substance which has a physiological effect when ingested or otherwise introduced into the body". Eating food releases endorphins and hormones. Sorry, not sorry if it's over your head. Even music is a drug, some studies are attempting to prove you can be addicted to music, and it can numb your brain receptors to listen to music too much.

The most intelligent and brave thing i can think to say is "i don't know, only one way anyone finds out". What people see on psychedelics is what they want to see. In my many years of experiences with other people on countless substances all I’ve seen is people become more extreme versions of themselves or make bland statement they already knew and think it’s profound once high. I’d imagine you didn’t know what either was til Joe Rogan told you. Lol

  26.  @sanjayw9878  what would that difference be? One is natural and the other synthetic. Is it “organic” that makes it good for you? Lead and uranium are organic. Cyanide is organic. There are thousands of natural occurring chemicals that can harm a person and synthetics as well. No matter where it came from, these are chemicals that cause reactions in the brain. Did you know meth can be made from plants? The ephedra plant. Most synthetics we make are just trying to replicate nature cheaper.

We learn more and more every day, but every answer gives more questions and that is fun to me. I just have a buddy that always think he blows minds by saying “what if we’re all living in a simulation” like Keanu is gonna bust through a wall.

  30.  @diehlc  I can say if he cared about global warming, he wouldn’t be playing with rockets. Will everyone get a free trip to Mars? Did selling children a flame thrower help the world? Is digging tunnels under LA helping the world, or the wealthy and in turn selling cars. It’s quite obvious to me Elon is a salesman first. He makes overpriced stuff for the wealthy and does nothing to help the average person. Cares so little he evaded taxes while we all pay taxes so people can be subsidized to buy his cars. Now that the US only wants subsidies for union built cars magically he hates subsidies. I worked in business for record labels and corporations. They work off of believing they are superior to us and without them we’d be banging rocks together to build fire.

Tons of people that take drugs claim to see or speak with god, who without drugs they never see somehow. Like “god” is up in the clouds waiting for people to take psychedelics so he can present himself. Does that make it clear?

  46.  @jakehero95  Yeah, not knowing can sure be scary, but it's honest and that's all that matters to me. As for my energy statement, not sure on that at all or if it would/could be measurable or transferable. maybe, idk. Also only taken from my own experiences in life. I would never try to sell it to someone though, that's how you know it's honest. There is a really good song with quotes from Alan Watts in it by INZO called "Overthinker", it helps me with anxiety. From what i've seen, sometimes people get so caught up in seeking the final answer, they forget to just enjoy the ride as you have 0 control over where you're going and can never change the outcome. Since i was 14 I've always just said the secret to life is to live it.

  50.  @jakehero95  I find there are too many things in life that can and should be solved that I try not to burden myself with the unanswerable since no matter who you ask or what instrumentation you use or any book you read is only an opinion. Sometimes it’s fun to speculate, but it is nothing more than that and so therefor to me not worth putting a lot of time into, could get hit by a car tomorrow and find out what the afterlife is. Could be none, no time to dilly dally or try to come up with a hypothesis that cannot ever be proven unless you’re selling it. I don’t like selling lies, that’s why I quit working for other people and do my own thing now. I just like playing that song because it really hits home going to shows and watching everyone with their phones taking horrible videos and thinking about all the people are screwed into thinking being a great parent is working 60 hours a week til you’re 65 years old, retiring, then dying 2 years later (average is 18 months). Most people never truly live.
