I look completely different
2
@EagleZtoTheGrave women were oppressed by law until the mid 70s actually
2
That's what "nice guy" means. Similarly, that's what "nice girl" means, even if the contexts are ever so slightly different.
2
@sohanbiswas3647 They weren't asking for you to forgive these people's actions; they were simply suggesting that these people are not irredeemably inhuman. I personally believe that the vast majority of these individuals could be put at peace or at least be persuaded not to further treat others the way they do if personal, professional therapy were cheaper and more readily available. Had these disorders been caught early, they probably would not have lashed out the way they are doing now.
2
The video didn't correct this minor mistake, so I'm doing it for you: less than 77% of men from age 25-29 commit suicide. 77% of people aged 25-29 who commit suicide are male. It's a really big difference.
2
That's all fine and dandy 'cept for the fact that we now have enough haploids of all types in cold storage to make as many babies as we want.
2
Because that is the case about 10% of the time.
2
@CadetFrost I would but there's too many likes
2
Redundancy just means being reserve or being another of the exact same to be used in case of primary failure. Being the redundant is a good thing.
2
Wonder Woman being bi was actually referenced in the first movie. It was in one scene, but still. It's not something randomly cooked up; it works out logically and also is mentioned.
2
Since when are they gatekeeping? Sure, they've tortured, gaslit, and use chemical weaponry in targeted instances (mostly Cuba), but gatekeeping?
2
"Paid propagandist." Paid by whom? Shoe barely gets sponsors!
2
@Westrait This is why the Ebenezer Scrooge archetype doesn't exist. If you work your way up, you generally help those who are down.
2
I'd get uncomfortable with both, but I've yet to see any gay NiceGuys™ who would get offended that I don't swing that way. So I think I'm safe from one side of the equation.
2
Although I do think the SRGB gradient would make a great flag.
2
But I'm pretty sure that dress has appeared in a movie. I can't remember which one.
2
Of course men are larger so they're into 250 horses instead of one
2
Except for the times where you have to program an AI in Java and "he and "she" inherit from "it".
2
Gonna need more than one moderator for that one
2
You just described basically every class clown after the third grade.
2
Not a disappearance if there's a poster. No agent worth their job would leave traces like that.
2
I read the graphic novel, and it's trippy to say the least.
2
@ItsMeBarnaby Or we could just third the amount of homeless men and cover over the glass floor with cement.
2
I think the list is made automatically. But it's a bit difficult to access.
2
But what would it stand for?
2
My theory about this is that many women who are comedians feel like they are forced to use their platform for activism in some way, and because they do this, they are promoted by activist movements, leaving the other female comedians trapped in the local clubs. Meanwhile, male comedians are unafraid to joke about the mundane. Meanwhile, some female comedians break the mold and become successful through their own means via the male strategy. This explains why I like Paula Poundstone.
2
@TheCimbrianBull more like hyuge but whatever.
2
Joan Rivers was a legend, but there are women like her who are drowned out because they cannot get an audience because they don't have a message behind their jokes. If you want to find funny women (and men, for that matter), look in the small comedy clubs. You'll occasionally find the funniest person ever.
2
Quite literally damning as well
2
Not to mention any building built before 1880.
2
@jacobcook944 Mr. Effing Rogers
2
@lukelyon1781 Just because politics today is literally one issue masquerading as twenty, doesn't mean that politics could later get more issues.
2
You could build a house with all those Ls as long as you had enough beams to stick together with them.
2
Nothin' stoppin' you from doing it now.
2
Most of what's there is electronics. Everything else is really simple: gas in compartment, gas explodes, platform goes down. More gas comes in, platform goes up.
2
But it only works if the woman hits first. And only as a last resort. Better to not want to get angry than to do so at the drop of a hat.
2
Idea: Spin-off channel that's just Ollie doing things. You could even recommend videos on that channel at the end of every video on this one, so that people can have some eye/ear bleach.
2
A less judging version: "These women's pop feminism makes them sound ignorant and selfish." Not judging you, just trying to help.
2
If you are being a good feminist by being a good human, you are by example helping to improve the world of feminism. Don't tear yourself down so much.
2
I remember it got really big around '15 or '16, but it could have been around in '14. Something about the Hugo Awards.
2
@TQFMTradingStrategies We've had truckers, train operators, and yes, power plants, go on strike before, and we've been alright.
2
It's called Clinical Psychology.
2
@ChadOfAllChads That's the only thing that defines a man. They're not any other gender. How that plays out doesn't matter, just do it.
2
Not to mention purple as a color in general.
2
@sleepy990 And the reason they don't do that is because most of those jobs require an apprenticeship, and all the masters are men, who are far more likely to pick a man to succeed them. And also because many of those jobs which aren't apprenticeship-based have a bit of a sexist tradition. If we got rid of those, we'd have no pay gap.
2
@embersky3681 we have no pay gap in individual jobs. We have an overall pay gap. Therefore the conclusion is that it's a problem with the gender makeup of high-paying jobs.
2
It didn't help much. There are still disabled babies in South Greece.
2
Put 'im inna scuppers witt' hosepipe on'im
2
Although, I haven't seen another restaurant that does quite as many things with Buffalo sauce
2
Fear of spies is a thing biphobes have in common with TERFs (who are often also biphobic)
