@heatherleigh414 Yes and No, in the inner city , it’s obtainable, but not necessarily “easy”, but not legally of course, criminals don’t care about laws, they get there Guns from the cartels, and give them too little kids in the hood, usually crack heads selling them for there next hit too a little kid. I do tons of research into gun violence, and inner city violence in general. I somewhat disagree with the statement that parents don’t know or can’t know. Can kids hide things? Yes, but it is not so simple to hide a firearm! Especially if the parent is actively checking ( as they should be if there kid has been caught before) This is not this kids first run in with the law, he has a list of priors, posts on social media with weapons. this is simply due to bad parenting. The parents aren’t doing there job, they are leaving the child to there own devices, letting them run with bad crowds, the parenting is a large part to blame for this child behavior aswell. Too say the parents are not at fault is silly and illogical. All the signs are there that the child has serious problems.
